just saw "the Haunting in Connecticut".. actually just watched it, because Kyle Gallner is in it, I usually try to avoid horror movies.. I'm giving 8/10 points..

and From Dusk Till Dawn? how would you rate it?

The list was about Tarantino-written-directed movies. From Dusk Till Dawn is directed by Robert Rodriguez. Anyway, it's an 8/10 for me.

I was left disappointed by the Avatar trailer. Didn't make me want to watch it at all. :/

So I've been away for 2 weeks in Croatia (as some of you may know already, lol) and have not had tv or internet for that time. I'm kinda out of date with some of the movies that are out now. Whats playing that some of you guys would recommend that I go see? Some I do remember are like GI Joe and District 9, but I left before those came out so I dunno how those are fairing at the moment. If anyone could give me an idea on whats worth seeing that would be great

Inglourious Basterds, man, Inglourious Basterds. That's all I have to say.

GI Joe is supposed to be... entertaining. You know, not good, but the kind of no-brainer action that is common these days. That's what I've heard from friends, anyway, as I have not seen it myself.

District 9 is one that I really want to watch. An american acquentaince of mine saw it and said it's one of the better movies he's seen in a looong long while. It's recieved pretty damn good reviews so that one is almost definitely worth watching.

But yeah, Inglourious Basterds. I can't stress it enough.

Well to each his own. 80% of the movie's done with CGI and it's been in pre-production/ production for years now; definitely a highly anticipated movie for the sci-fi community.

K, yea district 9 got 89% on rotten tomatoes and thats a hard thing to do so the movies gotta be good, lol. I think I'll try and see that if anything. I'm in the mood for some action .

Wow the trailer for Cameron's Avatar is just...massively underwhelming. Cliche plot? Blue Cat People Aliens? CGI that was said to be photo-realistic but fails and still looks too animated? Check, check, and check. This was supposed to be his god-send film that would "revolutionize" film...**Peter Griffin moan of frustration**

On the other hand, I watched trailer of "The Wolfman", new remake of 1941 film with Benicio Del Toro as the title character xd, besides which Anthony Hopkins <his always the best xP> and Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving and I can only say this: why the heck do I have to wait till 2010? Loved the trailer, hope that film will be superb too <plz> xD

Zombies Zombies Zombies is probably the worst I've seen. It happens to be hilarious though.

The Master of Disguise is also pretty terrible.

So I made the decision and saw District 9 tonight and I'd have to say I enjoyed it. Nothing that blew me off my seats but I really did enjoy the movie in the end. Its flat out a plot that you don't see everyday and its pretty unique which I think is what made it overall very pleasing. A tiny bit of humor mixed in here and there that I thought was good at times with some solid action made this movie a thumbs up for me

Avatar trailer was dissapointing. Okay, it looks very good, but I don't think it as realistic it was supposed to be. Just some night elves jumping around.

I'm really looking forward to Inglorious Basterds.

Spiderman 5 and Spiderman 6 have been confirmed on August 16, 2009. ames Vanderbilt, the producer who Sony hired, will be writing both of the films and will have a connecting plot.

Of course Spiderman 4 is gonna come out in 2011. But 5 and 6 have been confirmed! YES! Hope this time, this second triology will be much better...

Man, I wonder what the 4th will be, and now 5 and 6 are confirmed. I already read that they try to make 5/6 at once, because that way is much cheaper, and the screenwriter who wrote <if I remember correctly> the first screenplay for Spidey 4 has soooo much put into that, that they wanted him to write respectively for 2 movies at once. Cool <3

btw. and I can't wait to know, if Lizard really will be the villain in 4th <I mean: no "remakes" or anything, I would seriously like to see Lizard, because Dr.Connors was introduced in second installment - so its a perfect time in my opinion>

Yeah the Lizard is a difinite. So is Kraven the Hunter... I think Carnage might be in the 4th one as well because remember in the 3rd one, there was still some symbiote left in Doc connor's class. The producers are planning to introduce the sinister 6 in movie 5 and 6..hence why it's a connecting plot. Electro is a plan.

Oh and other news regarding Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
1st Part is going to be 2 hours and 30 mins and the second part is going to be 1 hours and 30 mins...also the producers do plan to make a scene about adult harry ron etc at the end but they won't be having people act it. Special effects will be used for the adult harry, ron, hermione etc...
