I think he's involved. I do know for sure that theyre being strictly close to the source material, they have no intention of bastardizing it.

The only they might have to do (because its Hollywood and they need to appeal to the mass audience, its a business) is slightly tweak the story in some spots and tweak some of the designs to make it work in a film medium. (Some things straight from anime dont exactly translate well/realistically/believably to film) But it wont be too bad. Id say were in good hands.

Still really skeptical about that... Hollywood's got a reputation for messing up really good franchises.

I think the whole Eva project has been scrapped for now

Hollywood can only tamper with what it finances. Universal Studios is only distributing the pic i.e. in layman's terms, they only help ADV ship the film reels into the various global theaters while keeping part of the profit in return THUS NO CREATIVE CONTROL. Plus if Universal isnt happy with the final product (as in not willing to risk distributing it), ADV can shop around Hollywood, start a bidding war until one company buys the movie as is (which would/will happen) and itll turn out as it should.

I can only hope that you're right. You know how these big companies work, they always want at least a tiny bit of say in movies that they finance.... always...

The Latest movie I have seen would have to be District 9. Over all the movie was great. It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it but this movie is well worth the admission!!!

Something that I found missing in Sandler's latest movie would have to be Rob Schneider. I have often seen Sandler & Schneider starred in the same movies such as in 'Water Boy', 'The Longest Yard', 'Deuce Bigalow:European Gigolo' and 'Big Daddy'. But not in 'Funny People'.

My favorite movie(s) at the moment would have to be the Underworld trilogy.

I like everything about the movies but most of all i like Kate Beckinsale (Selene). I think she played this role very well and handles guns with such ease!
