Movies The Movie Thread!

[yoniekai]

yeah well it's supposed to be stupid, else it's not funny ... every adult swim cartoon is

@hellbringer: it's almost the same price! haha. but i like the piracy here, cause you can request for some. i bought complete dvd seasons of anime and various TV series for $1.50 per set (that's SET, e.g. seasons 1-5 etc)

[Impel Down]

well, all right then. I may give it a shot. Hey, I thought Metalocalypse was gonna be shit before I saw it, so maybe I should try ATHFCMFFT too.

[the_hellbringer]

@yoniekai: Here ypou can found a whole season in 1 DVD... if it's a short anime... (15 episodes pero dvd) and at $1.27. Love the pirates. That's why I love One Piece.. haha

@Impel Down: what's Metalocalypse ?

[kadodo]

Ocean 13 has to be one my favorite summer movies, it was just good. I doubt tha I will like it better than Rush Hour 3 or even the new Harry Poter movie but it was good anyways.

These 13 guys are just too smart in the stealing. I have not even seen Ocean 12 but I liked it anyways. Story wise it was smart and very entertaining (though a little boring in the beginning) but it jus kept getting better and better. You guys should go watch it.

[Paper]

@hellbringer- apparently you don't know the prices of that stuff in asia.... let's see.... umm..... 20GBP for the entire Godfather trilogy....and 1USD for a normal DVD...about 1.50USD for PS2 games....

[the_hellbringer]

the prices are much the same..

[yoniekai]

yeah i guess there's a pirate code somewhere gotta love them

back to topic, im waiting for the golden compass movie. looks great. im planning to read the book and friends say it's a great series

[kadodo]

How many of you guys are going to watch Rush Hour 3 this august? I've seen the previews, looks pretty good with action and FUNNY too!

[yoniekai]

the trailer is hilarious and great! im watching it! the rush hour series is great, action comedies are nearly extinct but chan and tucker pull it off

[Paper]

aw man....though i hate how cliched "buddy-cop" movies are, i'm pretty damn exited about RH3

[Ichimaru Gin n Tonic]

hey, transformers gonna open tomorrow here, anyone gonna be watching that one soon?

[yoniekai]

im watching the day after tomorrow, it's freshmen night at school and there's a model contest and the 1st years are teeming with cuties and hotties and i have senior privileges but hey im not supposed to talk about this right now and here

btw, best movie i've seen this month is Phone Booth! coolest suspense ever, i was sweating mad

[Impel Down]

@Impel Down: what's Metalocalypse ?

It's this amazing show on Adult Swim.

And to Rush Hour 3, I'm going to have to turn that down. Not only is Chris Tucker not funny, but the whole "lol, race barrier!" premise of the last two movies is just stupid.

[the_hellbringer]

hey, transformers gonna open tomorrow here, anyone gonna be watching that one soon?

nop... but i'm going to see fantastic 4 tomorrow

[erikrhys]

^
you would rather see fag-tastic four over Transformers??? O-o

I think that the premiere in Peru is in July 26, wich is a problem because is the same tday that the premiere of The Simpsoms movie, and Iwanted to go dressed as Homer and with the face painted yellow to watch the movie.

[Ichimaru Gin n Tonic]

Well, you could still go dres like Homer to watch the transformers. Just tell everyone that you're wearing one of the autobots.

[Raseru]

Luckily for me, Transformers is released tomorrow. ie 28th June. ^^
But unfortunately, I won't get to see it until July 6th...
