I finally saw the Kingdom. Pretty good, although I was screaming at Jexxica Garner when she got that damn marble from the kid, because DUH. foreshadowing. But did she say "hey, something's wrong here." ? NO. I hate movies where people are stupid :<

I'll give a generalization, and examples.

Any movie that tries to be a slapstick spoof, but just turns out lame as hell.

Scary movie, Epic movie, Meet the spartans, etc. Anything of that nature. That should about sum it up.

The remake of a remake of the remake of a remade remake, and parts 2-69.

Example - King Kong remakes, Rocky, resurrect Rambo, etc. Come on, be creative Hollywood.

Gore "horror" films. They're gross, and that's about it. Come on? WTH?

Saw, cabin fever, dawn of the dead, etc.

This whole Sequel-prequel crap. Ugh.

Now, this is more conceptual - but - example: Star Wars. It was a trilogy, then it got turned into a prequel of cash cows. Man, they all sucked. Then we've got movies that get part 1, 2, 3 - and each sucks HARDER than the next - case in point: Spiderman. *BARF*

Pop-singer "actress" worship sessions. They defile the term "actress". To be an actress, you must be able to ACT.

Anything with J-Lo, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, etc. Pure shit in a flaming bag on your doorstep - and you just put out the fire.

Needless to say, there's been a very sparse selection of good films for the past decade, IMO.

@parodies- i for one found the scary movies funny...well they got lamer each sequel, but the early ones were hilarious.

@gore- gore is a love or hate genre. i myself love gore.

@sequel/prequel- not too fond of prequels myself. sequels are also a gamble since they risk turning it into crap, but for those producers and directors who manage to make a good sequel, well...good job.

Just saw the Knight Rider movie and....

... it was a let down. as a fan of the original KR series i was hoping for the original "K.I.T.T." which was a "Trans Am", but they decided to go with a mustang instead. now don't get me wrong, i love the way mustangs look, but i wanted the nostalgia from the original. The acting was so-so (more crap than good), and the dialogue was really cheesy at times. The only thing i liked about the movie was the idea seeing K.I.T.T. again, and seeing "The Hoff" play Michael Knight one last time.

Knight Rider- 5/10, crappy remake of a great TV show.

to add insult to injury i liked the crappy TV show remake "Team Knight Rider" better...

Saw Jumper at the movies,man it was fun but i dont know it was missing something in my head.That british guy was realy cool,but was beaten down preety easily.And it was to short for me,it was funny to.

Yeah but the way Crawler was apearing in one way then kicking him,teleporting again hiting again...that buss teleport was nothing spectacular,i more liked how Roland dodged it,it could have been better if he teleported it and threw it from mid-air on him.

now that i'm free of school i started watching my movies collected during the thesis season. first was juno! and nuff said, the sweetest movie i've ever seen. 10/10!

Incredible Hulk!

I wasn't for sure if they intended on doing a re-make of the Incredible Hulk since the first one sucked so hard... but yep, it's coming out June 13th. And just looking at the trailer gives me the chills (the good ones, like it's going to be a good movie)! They have a great cast (Edward Norton, Liv Tyler) and from what I got out of the trailer, a better storyline. They are keeping it in the same sense of the orginial TV show: Bruce is on the run from the military who wants to exploit his power, and Burce wants to control it so he can use it for good.

regarding the new Hulk movie which im seriosly looking forward to cause its gonna kick serious arse!!!!

The film would follow up Hulk, but tonally the film will be more similar to the TV series or Bruce Jones' run on the comic. He compared the film to Aliens, which was a very different film to Alien, but still in the same continuity

so techniqly the first movie happened, we're just not supposed to remember it

Anyone seen "Never Back Down" ? This is gonna be a good year for movies,i mean "Batman" is coming up,"Iron Man" wheeeew and now the "Hulk" and "The Streets" with Keanu Reeves,crazy.

Wow,never heard that they are going to remake the movie,shit im pumped on this one,i actualy liked the previous one to,but this looks kinda better,the previous hulk was to green if you ask me.

The worst movie ever to me was "Redline",man that was total crap,my ps even shuted down at the middle of the movie,probably cause the movie sucked big time.Epic movie was bullshit to.
