The only thing you should change is the position of the releases and art boxes. Switch them.

Also its too big and spaced out imho.

its plain and hurts my eyes, as for organization... well I don't see it being any more helpful. You still have to read ever word in order to find what you want, except now in a wider format.

I like the new shout box. Like it's been stated before this is more organized and easier for you to find whatever you want. The only letdown is that it takes double the space it took before.

Not that we can't scroll down, but how about an option to hide a certain shout box? For instance if I don't feel like reading the contests announcements I simply hide it like I hide the side menu. Just make sure that the important announcments are in some kind of place that can't be hidden away so no one misses them.

I think that it's way better, yet I see room for improvement. Now as it is it's much easier to see the interesting category, be it raws or scans or art contest. What I think is little inconvinient (yet it it nothing of major matter) is the fact that it's not very easy to find given series at first glance. Maybe some kind of colour or font distincition would help. Either that or changing the box into table with distinct cells one for each realease. It would be small but signifficant change.

It's a dramatic improvement to the way it was formatted before, but the raw box could be bigger and it could have some added ~pizazz~ to it!

This new format is excellent! It's very eye-friendly, I like it!
The only problem is that is too plain.... Add icons, or a background to the boxes, different colors to the releases, for example:

Naruto 300 by FHT Fansubber | Bleach 210 by XXXXXXX | My Balls by YYYYYYY

See, a unique color for the release, so if you see an orange text, it means that a new chapter of Naruto went out. Like this, we don't have to explicity read all the box.
This can be done with the Raws, and so on....

It can act like a spoiler boxes, too, so it doesn't take to much space (look how much it takes from the top section of the page) and if it has new content, put the SHIN (新) logo you guys already have.

Well, that's just a few ideas. I leave if you count them on you.

Like the new format; as many ppl stated before, it's much easier to "read."
What I think would be easier on the eye would be the addition of alternate color for the different manga names (for example: Gray, Blue, Gray, Blue, Gray, Blue,...) just so we can easily eyeball the releases. :P

Edit: Basically what "FHT_AnimeManga" (and possibly some other ppl but too lazy to go through the whole thread) said above ^^;
