The story for RE5 is a carbon copy of RE4 but with minor alterations. Otherwise all of the game's cues are very similar. I could give a crap less about gameplay as long as it didnt ruin the mood/atmosphere. I care about story first because these days Im sick of playing overhypped/overrated games that look pretty, play the same, get 9.0 reviews and above but essentially leave your brain on auto-pilot and unfortunately thats what they turned RE into and it fucking sucks. I refuse to give them my money for this bastardization.

RE4 and RE5 were both excellent but the ones on the PS1 like Re1,2 and 3 were just classic and badass. There is a difference, the ones on the PS1 scare the fuck out of you but the new ones don't. When I was playing RE1, when you walking down this hall and there was no music on, then all of a sudden these 2 dogs just jumped in through the windows and I was so shit scared I turned the game and the TV off! I had no bullets left even though I was playing Jill...man that scared the rap out of me. RE1 is the best Resident Evil game ever...it was just on crack mode. And all those puzzles you had to do with finding those 4 crests etc, man I hated the snake, there was a ctuscene with the snake dragging of the dead Richard <.< I hated the crows as well, you can't kill the fucking crows, you gotta escape the room otherwise you are fucked.

The game itself is good. Excellent graphics, excellent story. I beat the game in every mode and got every single trophy. I play resident evil series on playstation and my main grip with it was not having a mouse to look around. I thought 4 is much better. The controls were a little different than I am used to from 4, so that played a part in it.

My favourite Resident Evil games are RE, RE Nemesis and RE 4 ( in no particular order though)...

I'm a huge fan of the whole zombie crisis scene lol

Too bad RE 4 lack zombies though, still a great game and all those fatalities...poor Leon lol
