Spoiler: Hall Of Fame

Here is a thread to alert you to the start of new Sheep rounds
For anyone who plays this game: please follow this thread to receive warnings when new rounds are starting

Anyone making a round, please post a message to this thread when you do, so all prospective players will know to send a list (if you forget to do so, I will try to remember to do so for you).

This thread is currently just a test, to save on people having to go on mass tagging sprees - if the test is successful, we can keep on using it.
If the test fails (other than being extremely disappointed) then nothing will be lost and we can go back to ignoring it and tagging people like there's no tomorrow.

[Lady pompom]

Do we get a broom "Nimbus 2000" if we win?

[Farfalla]

I'm pretty sure that if I had any chance of winning, my answer on Q5 will lead me to lose @.@

[Hermit]

Do we get a broom "Nimbus 2000" if we win?

No, you get a pet rat called Scabbers

[MonkeyD-Dragon]

Been a while since I last participated. When I win this game (and I will ) I think I'll give the honor to my buddy @MonkeyD-Dragon to create the next sheep.

You won't win though

[Marmalade]

No, you get a pet rat called Scabbers

If we get an animal I prefer Mrs. Norris to be real honest....

[Organizized]

I actually played to win this one. Usually that's when I end up in the lower 10% though.

[Vandred]

I answered this Sheep almost at random.

I'll let @Vandred judge this one

Of course @Emperor Spriggan should get the extended punishment But since he's the one doing the current Sheep instead of Atom, I say that's punishment enough.

[Brandish μ]

Sheep will be open till Monday, have fun answering!

Is it still open, despite Monday already come and gone?

Or was this spell cast on you

Answers

1.Your birth parents died in a car crash, but your mother implored her sister (Your aunt) to take you in, so ever since you were little you were adopted by your aunt and husband. Raised along their only son, they (surprisingly ) treat you well, even going as far as giving you an education and every basic need you get. But one day, you go to check the mailbox and find a letter addressed to you. The sender is unknown. Do you:
a) Ignore it. Probably a mistake.( Brandish, EmptySoul) x 2
b)Open the letter, what could go wrong?(Linali, Ladypompom,Vandred,Farfalla, Zirconium,Monkey D-Dragon, Belserion,Valhalla777,Organizized,lakhan220,Gryffindor,Seraph,kira,MarmaladeSky,SirSamuel016,Purity of Magi, Charging Lightning,Sweetlybad, BluePegasus, GrySun) x19
c)Tell your aunt and uncle about it, they are your guardians after all.(riki) x 1
d)Destroy the letter. It could be something dangerous and incriminating.
Comments
Maybe it was just mistakingly delivered to me. They never told me what to do in such situations so might as well open it right?.-GrySun
That letter is mine so I'm opening it -SirSamuel016

2."Dear Mr. X. This letter is addressed to you from Merlin's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You have been invited to learn magic and become a wizard, as your parents did before their untimely death. Please have all your belongings ready by tomorrow morning, we'll send someone to pick you up. We aren't forcing you though, in case you don't feel up to it, draft up a letter turning down the offer." Those are the letter's contents. After reading it, you find yourself conflicted on what to do.
a)Start packing. BECOMING A WIZARD???! Sign me up!!(Linali,Ladypompom,Vandred,MarmaladeSky,Farfalla,Zirconium,Monkey D-Dragon,Belserion,riki,Valhalla777,Organizized,Lakhan220,GrySun,Gryffindor,SirSamuel016,Purity of Magi,Charging Lightning,Sweetlybad, BluePegasus) x 19
b)Write back to them turning down the offer. Magic sounds scary...and I live an okay life with my adoptive parents as it is.(Seraph,EmptySoul) x 2
c) Throw it in the trash. I don't need magic when I know 1000+ jutsu. (Brandish) x 1
destroy the letter and curse at whoever sent it for wasting a few seconds of my time which I could have spent bullying atom instead-Kira (x`1)

Comments
Jesus, why is this even a choice. WHO WOULD TURN THIS DOWN-MarmaladeSky
Sounds like one of those "too good to pass up" offers. Or it's a scam and when I arrive people will beat me up and take me hostage... Well let's hope-GrySun
Even more if it's a magic school like Hogwarts oops, I mean, whatever school we're going to. -Ladypompom
Is Hagrid taking me there?-Gryffindor
Magic could be quiet handy for magical events-SirSamuel016
make my foster parents proud by rising to the very top of tht world as well-Lakhan220

3.On the way to the school via train, you find yourself seated in a compartment with 2 other newbies like you, Helena and Felix. Felix seems every bit as lost as you as far as magic is concerned, but Helena turns out to know a good number of spells, after revealing she had been practising for a while now since she had always been fascinated by magic. The train suddenly stops, and you hear screams from the other compartments. Turns out you've been attacked by a group of floating, cloaked figures. Helena says she'll go fight them off, and asks you and Felix what you're going to do.
a)Go with her. You love a good challenge, and this could be a good chance to see a magic battle up close and personal.(Brandish,lakhan220,GrySun,Gryffindor, EmptySoul,MarmaladeSky,Purity of Magi,SirSamuel016,Sweetlybad) x 9
b)Stay behind in the carriage. Is this girl serious? We don't even know what those things are....(Belserion,Seraph) x 2
c)Go seek out help from an adult figure on the train, there's no way it's just all kids in there.(Vandred,Farfalla,Monkey D-Dragon,riki,Valhalla777,Organizized,Charging Lightning, Linali) x 9
d)Find a place to hide before they come get you!(Zirconium, BluePegasus) x 2
I refused the offer -Kira x 1
Comments
This is what Harry would do -MarmaladeSky
I'd usually pick c and contact the adults, but cmon the train stopped and people are screaming, any adults should know right away that something is wrong and do something about it without me calling them. Might as well go with the girl and see what happens-GrySun
Train? What about Hagrid? -Gryffindor
I rather have someone who has magic experience to deal with those creatures instead running blindly toward danger-riki

4.After a while, the train starts moving out again, and the cloaked figures all disappear, having being repelled by a professor who was on the train. You all alight at the school gates, and another professor is waiting for you at the gates, leading you into the school. You decide to stick with Helena and Felix, but a few steps into the school, you get approached by another of the new students. He introduces himself as Drarry, and says that he saw you on the train, and immediately recognized you since he's heard about your parents. After seeing the company you are in, he tells you you'd be better off hanging out with him, since both your parents were friends.
a)Accept his offer. He seems like a nice guy.(lakhan220) x 1
b)Refuse his offer. You can pick out whatever friends you wanna hang out with just fine.(Belserion,Organizized,EmptySoul,SirSamuel016,Purity of Magi, SweetlyBad,BluePegasus) x 7
c)Tell him he can join your group instead, since he seems to be by himself.(Linali, Ladypompom,Farfalla,Monkey D-Dragon,riki,Valhalla777,GrySun,Gryffindor,Seraph,MarmaladeSky) x 10
d)Ask him what he knows about your parents.(Vandred,Zirconium,Brandish,Charging Lightning) x 4
(^)-Kira x 1
Comments
Nobody wants to be lonelyyyy- MarmaladeSky
See I told you an adult would take care of it on their own. Does that mean me and Helena never did anything and everything was resolved while we were walking there?
The more the merrier right? I'd honestly pick a, but being mean to those 2 and leaving them in the dust is a bad idea, so might as well all stay together for a while-GrySun
Probably really C but I feel like people hate Malfoy too much to try to understand the rude kid-Organizized
And then, I'll question what exactly he knows about my parents-Ladypompom
Drarry -Gryffindor
What the fuck is his name? Doesn't sound trustworthy to me.-SirSamuel016
Come to me, Draco, I'll hug you -Linali
an experienced person and someone who is aware of things..so blindly recruiting him would be height of arrogance as a novice-lakhan220

5.You all enter the Great Hall, where there's going to be a ceremony to sort you into different houses that you're going to stay in for your duration of time in Merlin's. As it goes, you're basically supposed to sit at the front of the hall, and a hat is placed on your head that decides which house you go into. The houses are 4- @Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Your turn reaches. Which house would you want to be sorted into?
a)Gryffindor(Zirconium,Ladypompom,Organizized,GrySun,Gryffindor,Seraph,SirSamuel016,Purity of Magi) x 8
b)Hufflepuff (Brandish,BluePegasus) x 2
c)Slytherin(Linali,Belserion,Valhalla777,kira,EmptySoul,MarmaladeSky) x 6
d)Ravenclaw (Farfalla,Charging Lightning, Sweetlybad, riki) x 4
e)Can't decide, Ill let the hat do its thing. (Vandred,Monkey D-Dragon,lakhan220) x 3
Comments
Obviously-MarmaladeSky
I wish you said which of our 3 friends went to which house, so I actually knew where I wanted to go. I think Harry knew his friends went to Gryffindor too before deciding. Had they gone somewhere else he'd have wanted to go there too.But let's assume for convenience that all 3 of them, Drarry included, are in Gryffindor, so that's my choice-GrySun
Actually Ravenclaw but I hope people are predictable and go Gryffindor for points-Organizized
-- cant go against pottermore right, and Slytherin rules, if this were real i wouldnt complain one bit if I were chosen in Slytherin -Valhalla777
Looked at my name, then avatar, decided to choose between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, flipped a coin, chose Gryffindor.-Gryffindor
I guess most people will choose Gryffindor, but I'm going to stick with MY house- Linali
more fun tht way....free from pre notions and also learning to adjust and rise to top against unexpected and adversary-lakhan220

6.After the sorting ceremony and the Headmaster welcomes you all, you're all released, and told you can go anywhere in the school, except outside. A huge banquet is arranged for the newcomers. Felix and Helena, who were both sorted into the same house as you, both express their enthusiasm in exploring the school, as lessons start immediately the following day. What do you decide to do?
a)Eat. You can't pass up a chance to try out every meal that's on display for you.(Belserion,Organizized,Gryffindor,MarmaladeSky,SirSamuel016,Charging Lightning,Sweetlybad) x 7
b)Go to bed. You're tired from the long journey, and the attack on the train. (Linali,Purity of Magi,BluePegasus) x 3
c)Agree to go exploring with them, but ONLY within the castle boundaries.(Ladypompom,Vandred,Farfalla,Monkey D-Dragon,Zirconium,riki,Valhalla777,GrySun,Seraph) x 9
d)Agree to go exploring with them, as long as you also get to check the outside. The headmaster's warning seems like too good a chance to pass up.(lakhan220,kira, EmptySoul) x 3
e)Tell Felix to get lost and explore with Helena. (Brandish) x 1
Comments
Why would anyone turn down food....MarmaladeSky
Not looking around would be a waste. Going outside of the school would usually be okay too, but we only have 1 day so that's not enough time to see everything. The school is big enough to spend the whole day looking around in, and we probably still wouldn't see everything.-GrySun
What a chance lost tht would be if i would let tht slip by-lakhan220

7.The following day, the deputy headmistress all calls you into her office one by one, where she says that you're supposed to do a compulsory set of 7 subjects, along with a few optional ones. Which do you think will be your favorite subject out of the compulsory ones?
a)Transfiguration (Zirconium (x 1)

(i) Everything (Linali) x 1
Comments
I live for this. I miss divination though -MarmaladeSky
I actually have no idea about most of these, like transfiguration. But flying on a broom sounds fun and useful enough.-GrySun
Buddy, if one of that cloacked figures appear again, I'd better be prepared -Ladypompom
Does the astronomy class teach HBM-Gryffindor
I actually hate flying and would never do it, but I guess this shit is popular in HP?-Farfalla
Here u will get everything...defence against dark, origin everything-lakhan220

8.After picking out your set of compulsory subjects plus optionals, you embark to the dungeons, where your first lesson of the day is Potions. The teacher is a middle aged man with greasy hair, and you all find text books placed on your working tables. Your first task of the day is to prepare a potion, a simple antidote for a common poison. The instructions are on the first page of your books. You notice however, that your book is a little weird and different from the others, since on the first page it's written "This book is the property of the Half Blood Prince." Along with the instructions to make more than one set of potion, aside from the antidote. Which potion do you want to try and make?
a)Veritaserum, the truth potion. You could use it on anyone who knew your parents to find out the truth about their death. (Ladypompom,Vandred, Zirconium, Monkey D-Dragon, Belserion, lakhan220, EmptySoul) x 7

Shouldn't having great luck cover like every other option including love and accidentally overhearing people talk about my parents?-GrySun
Hmm, not only my parents... Truth serums have many applications-Ladypompom
duuuuh-Valhalla777

9.Your next lesson for the day is Defence Against the Dark Arts, and your teacher turns out to be the one who repelled the hooded cloaked figures on the train. He wants to train all of you how to use the Patronus Charm, in the event that you get attacked again when by yourself, and have no one to protect you. The chanting for the spell is 'Expecto Patronum' and the charm manifests itself by becoming your favorite animal. What is your Patronus?
