The game name is Sheep

How to play

1- Each participant will pm the host with their answers for the questions. You are not allowed to share your answers with anyone else.
2- Your objectives is parallel your answers with as many other players as possible, and get the highest score.
3- Try guessing the most popular answer.
4- There is no wrong answer.

Rules

1- The number of questions shouldn't exceed 12 questions and not less 8 questions.
2- "I don't know" will get 0 points. If you can't answer just use google or any search engine or simply put any answer.
3- The winner will host the next sheep.
4- In case we have 2 winners or more having the same points, The host will pick someone randomly as the winner or one of the winners would let the other do it.
5- If the winner didn't make the next sheep within 3 days the previous winner shall do it and if he didn't. Anyone can do it just to keep this game running.
6- Calculations and gathering answers is time consuming so the host has a whole week to do it. If he/she didn't post the answers and announce the winner after 7 days. The next sheep would be free to anyone to do it.

This thread is currently just a test, to save on people having to go on mass tagging sprees - if the test is successful, we can keep on using it.
If the test fails (other than being extremely disappointed) then nothing will be lost and we can go back to ignoring it and tagging people like there's no tomorrow.

First off. Thank you for spoiling One Piece to us. I didn't know what the "D." stood for until now. Only thanks to you, one of the biggest mysteries has been revealed and I can drop this average series without worries now.

Okay, okay, enough of that. I know that I overrate One Piece way too much. But hey, I don't want to mess with your feelings, because I think you are a very, very okayish guy, which makes you a rarity among all these plebs on Mangahelpers.

Now, let's head to my case. I'm not a coffee drinker, and well... I want to do my job and solve this case asap. Honestly, my initial thought during my read of this scenario was indeed Scotty. :lmao

But then... it occured to me... I am me.

Of course Scotty would be jittery around me. Everyone acts like that. People have been admiring me ever since. It is the law of nature, impossible to fight against it. Scotty's behaviour is not a solid evidence, not even a piece of circumstantial evidence. In regards to answer A: it is semantics. "Being dead" and "to exist" can have different interpretations. I mean, Death existed one way or the other, and thus it can die, respectively cease to exist. Which makes answer B and C the only reasonable options. I will go for B though. The reason is simple. I don't get the feeling that the witnesses - if there are any - were part of this incident. So, even if we find some witnesses, chances are that they won't have any reason to lie to me. But the company looks suspicious. Even if the company was not involved in the death of Death, they might want to withhold crucial information in order to keep the company's name away from the case as much as they can. The more time passes, the more time the company will have to make up a coherent story. It would be difficult to find inconsistencies/contradictions. That's why I would head to the company first, to give them as less time as possible to make up a story. That way, the company is more vulnerable for mistakes if they dare to deceive me. Not to mention, I would be very subtle with my interrogation, I am a professional after all.

That motive sounds very believable, and her freudian slip is very supportive of that assessment.

Sadly, she hasn't given enough information to accuse her of murder, even though I didn't like any of her answers. Especially her last statement - "[...]because of all the extra hours he would have to put in [...] Obviously" - is fishy as fuck.

The job description kinda reeks of "be dead". And look... Death will accumulate countless extra hours that way.

Answer A is not possible. It has too many plotholes, almost at a level similar to One Piece.

Let me explain. If he is a genius, why would he make the mistake to appear in the interrogation room? Why that - apparently - bad timing? You want me to believe this guy is genius enough to make a teleporter out of a school calculater but is too stupid to teleport properly? Only Oda fanboys would like such a messy writing.

Answer B has the same issues I elaborated above. A hallucination is not happening. As I said before, I am not a coffee drinker. Furthermore, I'm always the lord of my surroundings. In case I don't watch her directly, I would have my god-level Kenbunshoku Haki active. It is also not a super ghost because of our department's Ghost- and poltergeis-proof paranormality shields. The department's Ghost- and poltergeis-proof paranormality shields are either my own creation, which means it is infallible or they were reated by some other pleb and I optimized it to infallible level. The only reasonable answer is D. For one, this sheep already has a reference to One Piece, a Devil Fruit user doesn't seem too far-fetched. I think it played out like this: I got a little bit angry for not having any clear evidence against our Miss and thus unleashed a tiny bit of my godly Haoshoku Haki which disabled the functionality of the Suki Suki no Mi.

So, let's crack this case. It's a pretty straightforward one this time. Might as well get some music for this.

Alright, so Scotty. What I believe happened is, he summoned Death but Death didn't appear, just like he said. His motives just aren't that believable, as well as it not fitting Scotty to kill Death for any of the listed reasons considering the personality I think he has. Finally, the key is what he said before. "He's dead… what have I done… he's dead… what have I...". Now, this can be interpreted in several ways, but the most likely to me is: he feels guilty for Death's... well, death. Probably blamed his summoning for what happened to Death, it summoning him in a weird place, causing an unfortunate accident. His resentful quote sounds more like he believes he caused it, not that he actually did the deed.

Miss Teri Shopper on the other hand, seems very strange. Giving an important position to a very weird and not talkative guy just because of his spooky clothing? She can just use the things she has in her own store to dress up any qualified employee, this way it'd also advertise what she's selling. I'd expect most people to ask mr. Human where he got his robe from, with how old it likely looks. Her key quote is “We needed someone dark and brooding, with no one who would miss him-“, especially the latter part of it. Why should nobody miss him exactly? I find no other way to spin her slip than a slip. Maybe if her work-hours are insane to the point he'd never be home, but doubtful. The timing of the piano falling was way too good, and the location of the fall being next to her store, notably the entrance, means it fell from somewhere there. And only people from that store could setup an elaborate trap like that, with a 100% hit rate on whoever was the "correct candidate". Very suspicious.

As for Mortimer, he seems very childish still so I can't see the profile of a killer. Even though he's Death... eh. I don't believe the previous Death must die for the abilities to be passed on, and he'd most likely have better ways to hide the kill than killing him in a public place if he wanted to.

I don't believe Death would suicide himself, in a way like that especially.

I admit too much weird stuff happens around us, to the point we might as well be the "new Death", would've been an interesting plot point actually. Though we got plenty of fame from the Santa case, no need to create another case this early. We ain't washed up yet.

First off. Thank you for spoiling One Piece to us. I didn't know what the "D." stood for until now. Only thanks to you, one of the biggest mysteries has been revealed and I can drop this average series without worries now.

Okay, okay, enough of that. I know that I overrate One Piece way too much. But hey, I don't want to mess with your feelings, because I think you are a very, very okayish guy, which makes you a rarity among all these plebs on Mangahelpers.

Now, let's head to my case. I'm not a coffee drinker, and well... I want to do my job and solve this case asap. Honestly, my initial thought during my read of this scenario was indeed Scotty. But then... it occured to me... I am me.

Of course Scotty would be jittery around me. Everyone acts like that. People have been admiring me ever since. It is the law of nature, impossible to fight against it. Scotty's behaviour is not a solid evidence, not even a piece of circumstantial evidence. In regards to answer A: it is semantics. "Being dead" and "to exist" can have different interpretations. I mean, Death existed one way or the other, and thus it can die, respectively cease to exist. Which makes answer B and C the only reasonable options. I will go for B though. The reason is simple. I don't get the feeling that the witnesses - if there are any - were part of this incident. So, even if we find some witnesses, chances are that they won't have any reason to lie to me. But the company looks suspicious. Even if the company was not involved in the death of Death, they might want to withhold crucial information in order to keep the company's name away from the case as much as they can. The more time passes, the more time the company will have to make up a coherent story. It would be difficult to find inconsistencies/contradictions. That's why I would head to the company first, to give them as less time as possible to make up a story. That way, the company is more vulnerable for mistakes if they dare to deceive me. Not to mention, I would be very subtle with my interrogation, I am a professional after all.

Let me explain. If he is a genius, why would he make the mistake to appear in the interrogation room? Why that - apparently - bad timing? You want me to believe this guy is genius enough to make a teleporter out of a school calculater but is too stupid to teleport properly? Only Oda fanboys would like such a messy writing.

Answer B has the same issues I elaborated above. A hallucination is not happening. As I said before, I am not a coffee drinker. Furthermore, I'm always the lord of my surroundings. In case I don't watch her directly, I would have my god-level Kenbunshoku Haki active. It is also not a super ghost because of our department's Ghost- and poltergeis-proof paranormality shields. The department's Ghost- and poltergeis-proof paranormality shields are either my own creation, which means it is infallible or they were reated by some other pleb and I optimized it to infallible level. The only reasonable answer is D. For one, this sheep already has a reference to One Piece, a Devil Fruit user doesn't seem too far-fetched. I think it played out like this: I got a little bit angry for not having any clear evidence against our Miss and thus unleashed a tiny bit of my godly Haoshoku Haki which disabled the functionality of the Suki Suki no Mi.

So, let's crack this case. It's a pretty straightforward one this time. Might as well get some music for this.

Alright, so Scotty. What I believe happened is, he summoned Death but Death didn't appear, just like he said. His motives just aren't that believable, as well as it not fitting Scotty to kill Death for any of the listed reasons considering the personality I think he has. Finally, the key is what he said before. "He's dead… what have I done… he's dead… what have I...". Now, this can be interpreted in several ways, but the most likely to me is: he feels guilty for Death's... well, death. Probably blamed his summoning for what happened to Death, it summoning him in a weird place, causing an unfortunate accident. His resentful quote sounds more like he believes he caused it, not that he actually did the deed.

Miss Teri Shopper on the other hand, seems very strange. Giving an important position to a very weird and not talkative guy just because of his spooky clothing? She can just use the things she has in her own store to dress up any qualified employee, this way it'd also advertise what she's selling. I'd expect most people to ask mr. Human where he got his robe from, with how old it likely looks. Her key quote is “We needed someone dark and brooding, with no one who would miss him-“, especially the latter part of it. I intended that at some point, but I decided it's not possible to do that properly. Way too much pre-knowledge is needed to be able to understand many situations, and afaik many Sheep players aren't mafia players either. Thus I don't see it being a fun sheep to play. Maybe if you ignore rules/roles when making the questions, but that makes the possible situations to include rather limited.

There's no such thing as threads being deemed "worthy" of being stickied, we use the function to bring attention to threads we feel need attention. Sheep became popular despite not being stickied, so one could say it wasn't necessary. But unlike some sections there aren't too many stickies here so we don't have to be picky for now.
