Last year i was thinking about write something in tengwar, but i dropped the idea...

My name is Claire and my best friend Annie wants to get a tattoo with an quote from Loveless Volume 9 in Japanese language and is now completly desperate, because she isn't able to order the Japanese original manga for an human price. Now I had the idea to help her by finding an raw scan on the Internet, but I wasn't very succesfull as well.
Has any one an idea, where I could find that raw version on the Internet? Or maybe there is an other chance to get the original? I would be very glad, if anybody would help us! =)

Well, I'd ask around at the raw sites on the net... if you still can't find it, write down the English quote and then try asking some of the translators here if they can translate it for you.

Thanks! It's literally "survivor" (seizonsha) but the meaning is a little different than the English survivor. :3
I chose it for various personal reasons and I think it suits me, but I'll probably cover it up next time I'm in Japan. ^^;
I've had it translated by my Chinese friends as "the one who lives" or "THE EXISTOOOOOR" before. XD

I got a second one back in March. They are autumn leaves behind my left ear, and I love them. The only thing is that I don't think he ink'd them deep enough, because they've faded badly, unlike my other one. So I have to go back this summer and have them touched up.

They kinda look like scars to me.

You should definitely ink them up again and maybe some more shading/line work?

That was right after they were done, so it was still mostly scabbed and not nearly healed. It looked much better IRL. Yeah, I am having it touched up though since they've faded. Not much more detailing though because they actually look very realistic when you see them up close.

Nice. Are you going to get any more tats in the near future? Like a cascading butterfly/leaf theme spiralling down from your neck and going down towards either side of your hips!?

If I ever get a tatoo, it will be to remember something important that I decided. It will be there to remind me a commitment, not something to look cool. So I probably won't get one, unless I became a revolutionary or something like that.

Thanks. The guy who did is screwed up really badly though. >.>
He (for whatever reason) not only did it waaaay too deep so it hurt a lot more, and now the ink is staining the skin around it which is permanent, apparently, but he also did the damn thing freehand! Seriously! So he had to spend another 30 mins fixing his wobbly lines and I STILL need to go get it fixed when it's healed because it's uneven!

Seriously, first time I've felt like suing someone...

I really like to look at some nice tatts, but having one myself, never. Probably played to much Yakuza, but it doesn't have to be something I like, but a representation of the personality. XD

The mangaka Oh! Great draws some really great looking ones at times, in reality on the other hand I kind of despise tribal tattoos, as they seem to be much to random.

Bwahahaha, it was 200,000 rupiah, so that's actually a lot of money in Indonesia.
It's not too bad now. I'll just get some shading/highlights done if there's still some staining when it's healed. I just regret going to him and not going to my usual dude. T_T"
Ah, well, I tried to do my homework beforehand and watched him tattoo someone else for three days...he seemed legit...Not much I can do about it now! XD
