Re: The Television Show Thread!
Dexter's definitely worth checking out. Definitely puts a new twist on CSI type shows

. It's one of my favorite shows at the moment. I would say watch the first season, at least (it's only 12 episodes). Then you'll really know if the show is for you or not.
Oh, and Dexter is currently about half way through it's 4th season.
Drama. It's a CSI-like show, but the premise is based upon body language. They're universal, so they appear on everyone of any age, ethnicity, gender, et cetera. The characters on the show are essentially human lie detectors, and they are hired to find out who is lying.
Wonderful show. You don't need to start in the beginning to know what's going on, since the series is episodic. They might address something that's happened in previous episodes, but they'll do a quick "refresh" for the audience.
Sounds good, I'll have to check it out. Everything's about to go on winter break soon anyway, so I'll need something new to watch during that time.
@predsfan - I agree that 30 Rock isn't quite as good this year as it has been in the past, but I wouldn't call it terrible either. It's still better than a lot of other shows on right now. We'll have to see if the emmys keep rolling in or not. I think a lot of times those awards are based purely on reputation, but what can you do? *shrug*
Eh, perhaps *terrible* was too strong of a word, I mean I am still watching it

. I guess it's just that I really enjoyed the first few seasons, and this current just seems too meh for my liking. Especially when I compare to some other comedies running that I really like.
That being said, if any episodes from this season win an emmy then I'll riot

, especially considering I didn't think it really deserved the ones it got this year.
Jim Parsons>>>>>Alec Baldwin
(Also, I just *have* to comment on your sig. Seriously, it's too awesome for words!

)
Well, the win is strong with Zapp (possibly the greatest character ever created in the history of history

) and it's TV related so not off topic in this thread

.
