Djokovic outplays Federer to reach fourth Grand Slam final, scoreline 7-6, 7-5, 6-4. What really was talked about during and after the match, "It is not often that one sees Federer the great sweat, or look angry, or annoyed, or take a bathroom break. But he did all of those this evening as he fought in vain to stem the inspiration seeping from Djokovic's every pore."

I am hoping for a final featuring Djokovic vs. Murray, with Djokovic coming out as the victorious.

Finally...for the first time since AO 08 we have a final w/o the two of them. The fedal era is getting boring..domination for almost 6 years...

Last two Masters tournament and Djokovic came on top. Both Nadal and Djokovic reached the finals. Federed lost in Semis of both tournaments, once by Djokovic and the second time by Nadal. It was not just he lost, he was beaten pretty convincingly. The best player so far has been, without any doubt, Djokovic. He had good years and bad years, but he was expected to become Number 1. I think he will realize that dream this year.

The match with nole was close, fed had the momentum and imploded djoker did the same exact thing to nadal who i've never seen play so poorly. Nadal beat fed convincingly but that matchup was, is and forever will be bad for federer.

I'm voting for Nadal. He's got still a few points ahead of 2nd placed Djokovic and we've now entered his favourite and most dominant part of the season. If he does well through this, then he'll stay top.

In other news, Federer lost again...This time to Melzer I think in the quarters at Monte Carlo 6-4 6-4

I agree, Nadal has point advantage over to the second closest Novak. Moreover, the Clay court season followed by Grass surface, is where he can extend the advantage even further.

Yep, I didn't watch the match but I had no doubts whatsoever that he'd win. Seems Ferrer could be the one person who can disrupt his reign on Clay.

My thoughts prior the season began were that Nadal would have his toughest year on Clay. I expected Djokovic, Murray and especially the Clay-courters giving him tough time. He lost a set against Murray before he took the 3rd one with ease.

Murray was injured wasn't he? And this was Murray's best performance since the AO, Murray and Djoker will be taking it to him. I'm not voting in this poll...this sport is way too unpredictable. No one saw federers 2009 or his 2010 turning around after the way they started. If going by only atm, it's going to look the same, Nadal, Djokovic, Federer.

He had some issues day before the match. Nothing serious but he felt nagging, especially when he was serving. The doctors weren't sure what it was till they have MRI scans. He then had cortisone injection before the match, which enabled him to play. He was doing well in two sets, but then he started to feel uncomfortable. Murray said after the match, the heavy top spin by Nadal and the force required to hit them back along with some long games wore off the effects of cortisone injection.

Well he's playing Barcelona this year...shades of 2009....he says he's okay but his idea last year of just playing the masters was a good idea imo.

I am hoping that either Murray or Djokovic will win one of the masters. It will be really good for the sports. If Nadal can bag few of them along with Roland Garros and Wimbledon, he has a good chance of retaining No. 1 ranking.

Yeah I just read that today too , Not too long before the rest of the Slams follow up on it. Also read that Murray will miss Barcelona.

Yep, he is injured and will miss it. Clay season is really tough. The players need to be 110%. It will be better for him if he take time off and heal before the grandslam.
