Well, It's not like I care about them being together, It's just I might feel bad for Rosita. But like in general I wouldn't like to see more couples. To be honest, I don't know what else could happen in the series. Another conflict with a different group? Cuz like they have Alexandria, they have all they need.
I don't know. IMO, it would be stupid to put him in danger again (after so many attempts) and kill him. Especially, now that Maggie is pregnant. It would be stupid that Rick lost Lori when they were to have a baby and the same thing would happen to Maggie except that she'd lose Glenn? Also, it is the only true and long lasting couple in the show so not sure if people would like to break it. I mean I would get over it I guess but I don't think they will kill him off. Especially if Daryl is to be killed because of the show or wtv Greg's been blabling about.

What's more likely, that they're guilty of bad writing on a semi-regular basis, or they did that scene earlier this season in order to troll the readers of the comics? They obviously don't have to follow the source material closely at all, there are show-exclusive characters, and characters that are killed off way earlier or later than the original story. But doing what they did with Glenn earlier this season, where you're basically made to see him being eaten alive, only for it to be a "trick" with extreme luck and impractical physics...they basically broke their own rules. They've never done that for anyone else in the show. It makes way more sense for them to go for the cheap cop out to create high drama in the first part of the season and then the punch in the gut later in the season than that happen and him be perfectly safe.
I think it's awkward either way due to the dumpster bullshit, but I find it more likely that they did it to twist the knife even more when he is killed off.
Parts of the episode were cool, but a lot of it felt random as fuck. The whole premise of it was really fucking flimsy as well.
We have Daryl leaving and we assume it's because of Carol...but NO isn't. All this talk of hunkering down and being prepared, and then nearly everyone leaves the walls. Therefore, Negan is basically being put to kill off a 1st core group member, so it will make a devastating impact in his character debut, Daryll could be killed off, but to be honest, I could see Morgan and Carol dying way more, than Daryll case:
The characters that die in the comics for the most part, dont live very long in the TV series, there are also cases where they die earlier in the TV series, to distinguish it more from the comics (Dale was killed off earlier, than he was in the comics, Tyreese died a bit after the prison assault, which in the comics was the place of his death (Hershell died in the prison in a diferent way than in the comics, but in the same place for both), Denise got killed off earlier than she was in the comics (but thats due to she basically taking Abraham´s place, (Kirkman himself said, he killing Abraham too early in the comics was regretful so that could´ve had to do with the change)), Carol outlived her comic counterpart by becoming a badass (her counterpart commited suicide in the prison), but now is beginning to question herself, Morgan´s character was also killed off earlier in the comics and he never got the sort of character development, or 1 sole only episode attention, in the comics, both of them are pratically reaching out the end point of their characters with their morals and what not and we know by Beth´s case (she lived more in the TV than in the comics), that this is a huge death flag sign, so I believe it´s gonna be between Morgan and Carol, with a slight chance of Glenn getting killed off as well, since he was been getting some spotlight as well)

Also dont Forget about the whole Dwight/Daryll thing, with the crossbow, it´s more interesting to leave him alive to see what the interactions between each other improve into, plus he isnt in the comics so we basically never know when exactly he will die, until it actually happens (and I can see the tV series saving Daryll´s death, for a bit far down the road, when civilization gets more developped).

Was it immediately after that really? Daryl stomped off and then Rosita followed him a bit later. Maybe the reason he turned back and was able to find Glenn and Michonne kidnapped is because he caught a different trail or something. Daryl wasn't surrounded by 5 people, that was Glenn and Michonne when they were kidnapped. When Dwight shot him it was just him and another guy that snuck up on Daryl and Rosita.

He is one of Kirkman´s best Money maker, he was the MC of a PS3 walking dead game and recently he used Daryll in a android app game, the guy is getting more spotlight than other characters when it comes to games of the walking dead (excluding Clem of course), the potential his character has as a icon for the Walking dead sales, is alone a proof that lots of viewers of the TV series, respect his character a lot, for a Tv series only he gained a lot of popularity til now
(Also in the last april fools giving, there even was somebody who put Daryll´s jacket on Dwight and put him in a Walking dead comics cover, the guy´s potential is insane and if this keeps out he could out live Rick, but it will all depend on how things with Dwight will go down, I´m expecting Daryll to die and then have Dwight suceed him with his crossbow afterwards, so the crossbow guy never dies, since Dwight is still a character in need of build-up before dying)
More like comics Michone, since the positions of andrea and Michone as rick´s love interests are divergent from the comics and TV series, also he still can end up having problems after Negan is dealt with just like michone (especially if Carol dies).
