Dude, I was watching last night and justWhat a coincidence.
"We got to start using our knives more. If there's one Walker, we use our knives. We keep things quiet, we save ammunition." - Walking Dead Episode 10.
No shit Sherlock. I'm glad you finally realized! Although I would get myself something with greater reach, like a set of swords...
'dBut like I said yesterday, they have a bunch of those gnarly blades from earlier in the season...they just seem to have vanishedIt's not impossible to make swords (or weapons in general) from material they having lying around. I bet the farm has tons of tools that could be made into melee weapons. Actual swords would probably only be available in decent sized towns, which are probably overrun with zombies. So I guess that's a bit stupid.

Yeah, they got to use themBut like I said yesterday, they have a bunch of those gnarly blades from earlier in the season...they just seem to have vanished![]()

It's just a guess, but I bet it's cheaper to do special effects work for gunshots than it is for chopping a zombie's limbs off or something...but yeahYeah, they got to use them
But now that Rick got on that train of thought, maybe he'll push the use of melee weapons more.
Yeah I knew Andrew Lincoln was British. His Southern accent is sort of spotty at times, but it's not awful. He sort of whispers or makes his voice raspy at times and it's just weird to listen to. I've heard him interviewed and he doesn't have that raspy quality in his voice at all from what I remember. Maybe it's a method he uses.Could be. Sounds reasonable, although they bash in heads all the time. This week's road kill was awesome.
On a completely unrelated note, do you notice when actors that are British (or Australian etc) speak American English that their accent is flawed? I was surprised to learn today that Andrew Lincoln is from England. Though pulling off a great American accent these days isn't really surprising nor a big feat. People like Bale (although he's a top class actor) do it all the time. I can pull off a pretty good British English too although I talk somewhat American.
Yeah, and he even does regional accents, like a Boston one in the Fighter. A true method actor like Day-Lewis for sure.Bale sounds flawless to me. He even has such a strong accent naturally which makes it even more impressive.
Yeah, he doesn't have that raspy voice. Lincoln has a quite soft and light voice when he speaks British indeed. It might be for the sake of the role, or it's a method like you said to successfully speak American.
I think it's especially interesting when they use completely different accents from their own natural accent. To be able to act great and do so while pulling off another accent are two completely different things. It's quite skilled to be able to act so well and normal when it's not your natural element. Even if doing that is becoming more and more normal lately.Yeah, and he even does regional accents, like a Boston one in the Fighter. A true method actor like Day-Lewis for sure.
Rick has a Georgian accent, a Southern drawl if you will.
