well the zodiacs did have a mole after all, hats off for kurapika the best detective/nen user for the job they should give him the horse-face's job for his incompetence

Most of you might have noticed this but I closed the poll yesterday . It turns out only one person was right(yeah there are other theories about the mole but for now at least he is right), who voted for Saiyu?

I am thinking of creating a new poll to see who are their popularity, excluding Kurapika and Leorio.

yes agree i still can't buy it at a 100 % that Saiyu is the mole another theory circulating is that the real mole is mizai and he's affecting kurapika's judgement with his manipulation nen anyhow i like ur idea of the popularity contest could you also make a ging/pariston poll too?

Here's an interesting trivia about Kobayakawa (Horse):

It is possible that his name is related to Hideaki Kobayakawa, one of the Hideyoshi Toyotomi's general who betrayed Western Army at Battle of Sekigahara

We have a character based on a traitor... could that be a hint?

We have all the zodiacs, and the only ones having their Hands behind their backs or head are sayuu and pariston, all the others have their Hands in front of the sides.

Having the Hands behind ones back is a common sign of having something to hide.

It is a small Detail, but we know that togashi puts some emphasis on Hands (like someone in this Forum pointed out about right and left Hand symbolism).

So after seeing Saiyu's ability i was wondering what people thought the Nen abilities were of the other Zodiac.

The mole is the monkey... Haven't you read the manga? Anyway there's no way Kurapika could be the mole, he hates lying. Remember episode freaking 2? Anyway betraying the Zodiacs would mean betraying Leorio which Kurapika would never do. Anyway Beyond does not have the Kurita eyes so where's the motivation to become an international criminal? And furthermore, the mole works for Pariston not Beyond, do you really think Kurapika would work for a dishonorable sleezebag like that? Beyond believes that he can defeat all of the Zodiacs and escape single handedly he has no use for a mole.

The poll is outdated, it was created when its identity was unknown. There were members who still didn't believe Saiyu was the mole even after the reveal IIRC.

I don't remember urapika saying that he hates lies, he himself did a lot of reprehensible things during his quest.

To be honest, i am not very sure that kurapica still follows the same moral guidelines he followed in the hunter exam arc and in yorknew.
Him not answering leorio's call is a strong indication that if the situation arose again, he would not save his friends by losing the chance to kill chrolo.
So, while he DID say he hates lies, lying is not out of the question in my opinion.

However, I do not see a benefit for him in lying here.
He was offered valuable intel and so far he has no reason to exspect he is screwed over in that deal.

I also think that Kurapica would be too smart to trust pariston ever.
