Discussion Things that you wanted to happen in TOG

So the TOG universe has expanded to multiple facets and many arcs and i would say many of us have some greviance or expectation that was unmet(no matter how outlandish). So i thought it would be a good place to vent. Here is mine

My expectations in a lot of ways have been exceeded. I started off thinking Noblesse the better of the two but now that opinion has been totally reversed. At some point I believed Baam to be the spawn of Zahard but how the story has progressed so far has been superb.

I do have gripes with the development of Rak and Kuhn (feeling they should be far stronger than they are) but seeing as I don’t write the Manhwa I have no say in how they progress.

Great series and continually getting better..,, So Far.... lol

I'm pretty content overall, too.

If I had to pick something it would even more involvement with the season 1 cast. We got Baam, Androssi, Rak, and Koon back together and that's great. But I'd like to see Anak, Hatsu, and Leesoo get more screen time too.

ToG has come a long way with putting it's best characters out in center stage since the end of the Workshop battle but I still think there is some work to be done on that front.

I also started thinking of Noblesse as a better comic, but ToG developed in art, storytelling and many aspects, one of the things more admirable in SIU's writing is that it has space for so many possibilities and theories it's fun thinking about those. I like both now and I'm very enthusiastic about what ToG has to show.

I'm with Jammin on the part of seeing more the characters from 1st season, Hatsu, Lauroe, Leeso, Anak we have seen little about them this season and I hope we'll get more info and developement for them later.

Also, I'd love to see Androssi x Baam ship and Yuri x Mazino ship

Yes, I want to see the S1 team climbing together. Overall the developments are good, very good even.

Before recent arc i would have said that i actually would like another evil villain in action. but Karkara Hoaqin did really good in filling that void(usually it was only rachel and really i m getting bored of her). What i would like from TOG is Bam climbing the tower because he wants to not because rachel is egging him on.

I was so damn sure bam would meet Arlene and V in this arc but Zahard had to kill off all the data. I guess Eudhans badassery made it up.

I want to see a meeting between Jahad and the 10 Great Warriors in their current form. Now that would be epic and if possible, Eduan vs Urek.

I want to see Bam/Khun/Rak climb and/or take tests just the 3 of them. I want to see more of Hatz and Lauroe. I want to see more Admin tests.

I'm pleased with where things are right now. Baam is finally showing signs of being what an Irregular should be and at last we've got an antagonist who is worthy of the title in Zahard. All I want is for things to remain on course and not have Baam backslide into old, bad behavior patterns.

It's funny I feel like SIU is on a run now of giving me stuff I didn't know I wanted.

Like I didn't even think to want to see Zahard but we got that. Now we might get to see Adori. He's got a way of surprising me with stuff I didn't even think was a possibility. Like when Mazino just showed up. You just never know what he's going to give you.

Not to mention that the hornets’ nest has been thoroughly kicked so we will see a LOT of characters that we have only heard rumors about.

The one disappointment from the HF for me was that we didn’t meet all of the family heads. I suppose that would have been too soon and in this next arc we will likely be seeing one or two more. It was fun seeing young Eduan and Zahard... and probably the arc would have been wayyyyyy too bloated if they were there. Still would have been nice.

One thing I hadn’t expected that we are getting now is a good look at the Zahard empire itself. Zahard mentioned to Bam “you must not really know who I am on the outside” and I think we are going to get a good dose of that now.

I want hyorang to finally get saved. Not because I care about the character at this point but rather because his is a plot point that is always lurking in the background without any resolution. Save him, neatly end all plot threads around him, and forget about him forever. I swear that the last few times miseng has appeared I have had no idea whatsoever of what is going on.

I feel like he'll get saved off panel. Like something will happen with Wangan and it will just cut to Horyang and Goseng staring together romantically gazing at the night sky. Which is the last we ever see of them.

SIU is a creative and brilliant guy but not all ideas are winners. The whole Horyang thing is something to throw on the discard pile as quietly as possible, IMO.

I'll take that. I don't particularly care about the details, I just want his story to stop lurking in the background and random ass wild misengs to stop appearing. Its not like there is a chance of hyorang catching up to them anyways. He is 10 floors behind, an e class regular and the gang climbs the tower at a very fast rate. Assuming hyoran can catch up, it will take many years, perhaps decades.

That's about the best that can realistically happen with them. Horyang and Goseng are way behind the rest of the cast in terms of climbing now, and that's not changing unless/until someone stops to let them catch up.
