Every single group in Wano should've been cut by like 30%. Akazaya 9+1? Akazaya 6. Big Mom? Absolutely fucking not, take her out. Why put Kidd in at all, he was barely a character?? Did we need both Momo and Hiyori? Not really no. Just on and on and on with the character bloat in that arc.

Well apparently Oda original concept was for there to be 4 then it changed to 7 and where going to be called the Seven Scoundrels before settling on 9.

One gag I never liked and actually thinks counterintuitive to story is Nami's slave gag . Especially considering her own past basically being one for Aurlong.
Oda never should have never brought that one up ever and it really needs to die.

At least that's just a way of hyping up a little-known but highly-speculated-about character *AFTER* the flavor-text tale is told to the reader.

Now whenever dialogue does "that character" or "that technique" or whatever, that drives me nuts. Luckily Oda isn't as bad about it as, say, Kishimoto (good lords it was so bad in the back half of Naruto). I think the only example of that I can think of still active in One Piece is the burn-scar man, and at least it's a qualitative hint describing him and not just "that".

Now that I think about it, it's shocking there's no more Silhouette-kuns running around, aside from Joyboy, since Imu seems to actually be a black monster.

O well I think these comments are a waste of panels. I wouldn’t mind in general but knowing how frequently really interesting panels end up being cut out I think these kinds of statements are just a waste of space.

Regarding the Silhouette-kun matter, I can picture several new coming in when we are moving closer to the revelation of the Void Century.
Regarding Imu: I bet they have a shadow monster form but I suspect their human form to be more than a shadow.

dude, your fans LOVE stupid little history tidbits. Don't even gotta put it in the actual chapter dialogue, but we'd absolutely FEAST on some random historical tidbits like the ones she was bullshitting Crocodile about. Gives us such a fun little window into eras of history we know less about than the Void Century lol

Don't even gotta put it in the actual chapter dialogue, but we'd absolutely FEAST on some random historical tidbits like the ones she was bullshitting Crocodile about. Gives us such a fun little window into eras of history we know less about than the Void Century lol

The one jimbei and wadatsumi found.. even when it was not a Red one it must be fucking important.. the one he gave to Bm and Brook make a copy of it.. Specially now we know The ancient world rest at the bottom of the sea ( waterworld lore shit )
