Welcome to the MangaHelpers Tokyo Ghoul “Caption or Create a Scene" Contest! In light of the break without a chapter next week, we have decided to have a small event to bridge the gap a little. In this contest, you should re-caption a panel or page from Tokyo Ghoul or Tokyo Ghoul:re or draw your own panel or page. Examples of both are posted below.

Participation Rules:
All members may join the contest.
In order to submit, send me a Pm with your work and, optionally, a short paragraph explaining the concept.
You are allowed to submit multiple captions with up to three different submissions.
You may manipulate whatever you want about the image from just re-captioning to manipulating the image in other ways with image editing or photoshop.
Not following the rules may result in disqualification.
Plagiarizing is not allowed.

Schedule:
Designs may be submitted until August 20th at 11:59PM
The voting period will take place after the end of the submission period until August 27th at 11:59PM
Whoever has the most votes at the end of the voting period wins the contest.

Please feel free to use this post to discuss, post examples, ask questions, or anything else!

The examples below show the different types of entries that we are looking for in this contest. The first two are re-captioned pages provided by yours truly who is a teacher and recently looked for a job to explain the context of the captions. The second example of a recreated/redrawn scene is from our member, Qixus, who has graciously allowed us to use her post as an example (and I also hope she submits something for this contest!)
