when was that again? I honestly don't remember lolspeaking of Natsu, does Natsu have his Wolverine healing ability he uses once in the blue moon when Hiro thinks it's cool???
against Aldoron.when was that again? I honestly don't remember lol
chapter 61-62? I don't think that was healing ability tbh. No mention from God Seed Aldoron. Natsu was just burning the thorns and enduring the pain. The wounds were still visible.against Aldoron.
he was impaled so hard all over the body it went through him but then he healed immediately.
wasn't even in DF when he did that.
there were no holes on his body except scratches and some spikes were big, not to mention they went out on the other side of his body.chapter 61-62? I don't think that was healing ability tbh. No mention from God Seed Aldoron. Natsu was just burning the thorns and enduring the pain. The wounds were still visible.

checked again, there's hole on his knee and left feet, and it didnt heal. as for the movie thing, I havent watched it yet lol. was it his own ability or from outside? if it is the latter then it's restricted.there were no holes on his body except scratches and some spikes were big, not to mention they went out on the other side of his body.
no scars either.
pretty sure he healed.
or maybe I'm looking too much for something Hiro doesn't even care about
he did the same thing against Animus.
it seems more like small amount of blood covering a wound rather than hole since he would lose tons of blood (not to mention other dozens of holes he should have) but yeah, you're right.checked again, there's hole on his knee and left feet, and it didnt heal. as for the movie thing, I havent watched it yet lol. was it his own ability or from outside? if it is the latter then it's restricted.
personally I am not worried about healing ability tbh. Natsu is not immortal unlike Zeref. Even healing ability needs MP and is exhausting. Look at Sherria's.

Is there any reason we shouldn't take portrayal into account in absence of feats or when feats don't contradict?I wonder how farfeatlessJellal will go with so many feats on his back.
I want him to go up against DF Natsu.
he is clearly portrayed to be above DF Natsu during ToH and nothing contradicts that in the present cause of that hYpE PoRtRaYaL
@Ramen @Jko ready to see the bluehaired GOAT having 15 - 20 votes against DF Natsu or Suzaku

Yea he healed. Or else he would have countless holes all over his body.chapter 61-62? I don't think that was healing ability tbh. No mention from God Seed Aldoron. Natsu was just burning the thorns and enduring the pain. The wounds were still visible.
You don't realize how many people vote just for their favorites/strongest, not by actual feats or logic. So no, Natsu and Gildarts won't get any challenge here.
Yeah, no one clearly knows who will win - Natsu or Suzaku xd insanely unpredictable outcome

good luck with that![]()

Everything works according to the plotThe only issue with Erza (and this even happens to Natsu) is due to high volume panel time we see her struggle or be defeated by lesser opponents or circumstances, ie plot. Then again, plot does also help her achieve some high tier feats. Leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
Darkness is negative emotions. It's impossible for you to never feel negative emotions, so it's inaccurate to say that Gray doesn't have access to it. But something needs to happen on the scope of Juvia dying for Gray to actually feel those emotions. I don't recall there being a judgement made on whether or not it's restricted, and personally, I have no problem if you want to use those feats. Not sure I follow. So does Gray definitively have access to it throughout this tournament or is the "if" part going to be left to individual interpretation?
Because if it is the latter, then my point still stands that there is no general consensus among voters in terms of Gray being able to access it at-will.
If this so-called "Darkness" mode is truly just PoF or negative emotions, then Gray should obviously be able to use it at-will because everyone has emotions and anger in this battle.
From my standpoint, Gray's "Darkness" mode is merely just the peak of his power when his adrenaline is being pushed to its maximum.
Bringing in "PoF/negative emotions" is useless here because it's not like this tournament is following a storyline or plot. In other words, what emotions are the characters feeling here other than wanting to defeat their opponent and win the battle?
Strictly speaking, what Gajeel showed was never called dragon force in any of the translations. The reason why people assume it's dragon force is because of the scale patterns, and I guess the dialogue of Natsu and Wendy showing it's DF. In terms of the actual translation, it's either "black iron" as it's own unique thing, or steel. Again, I have no problem with using these feats.Well, the fact that we're using a lot of "if's" here implies that the manga was rather unclear about this, which was my whole point.
If there is a translation issue, then how are individual voters going to decide which one to go with? The concern here is whether Gajeel still has access to it and can do so at-will.
As far as the "Jet Black Iron/Steel" transformation goes, I'm inclined to believe that it is indeed Gajeel's equivalent of DF, especially since this was heavily implied by the manga when he had flashbacks of other Dragon Slayers being able to activate DF at-will while he still could not.
Not to mention, his appearance closely resembled the other dragon slayers' DF designs in terms of having actual scales on his body.
We have no way to tell what attacks were being used, but we can still see their demeanor after the battle. Skullion thinking that it was time to call in the Black Dragon Slaying Knights for help probably means he's already exhausted most of his options, considering the level Suzaku operates at.Sure, off screen fights are still fights, but we have no idea what attacks were being used throughout the battle.
For instance, CQC is still considered a fight, but I'd argue that it is far less threatening than a spell such as Black Ash.
However, I do agree with you that I didn't see Mira having any advantage against Skullion. So the results were not skewed, but they are susceptible to speculation, which makes it impossible for a fair comparison.

Well we wouldn't have to worry about Erza/Jellal discussions any longer, cause next they're against Suzaku LMFAO
Hold your horses boys.Looks like Erza and Jellal are in a threeway with Suzaku.
I guess that whole Erza vs Jellal mess is gonna be cleaned up right quick

Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. Even if Suzaku would get less votes than Erza and Jellal together, they still have to share votes between them. So it might be like this:Don't count your chickens before they hatch. It would be very wrong but I honestly won't be surprised if Suzaku had lesser votes than either of them cos haters gonna hate
Nah, it'll be fine. Suzaku got less votes because a few people here, admittedly, haven't read the spin off and are voting based off the main series.Hold your horses boys.
Suzaku only had 37 votes (tied with Gajeel) in his group despite being far and away the most powerful.
While Erza and Jellal both had considerably higher votes with 59 and 51 respectively despite neither being the strongest.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch. It would be very wrong but I honestly won't be surprised if Suzaku had lesser votes than either of them cos haters gonna hate
PS: Thank goodness I didn't vote for Erza otherwise the scarlet cancer would've tied with Gildarts for the most votes in the group setting![]()
