hmm if dragons were banned, wouldnt the results be just either natsu or august? I remember natsu won the tourney 3 times or something....

Yeah you should probably ban those two, and throw maybe Irene into the ban list as well

it seems I didnt make it "balance" enough.

I had ideas for the next one: "weak" chars can team up with others like e.g laxus with raijinshuu, lucy with natsu and happy, gajeel with levy and lily (based on their close friends) to make it balance. so some are solo fighters, some are groups.

also other idea is 16 contenders (16 users with their group/solo fighter). the available chars are already provided beforehand. you chose your fighter. first come first serve.

that, or tirl's ranking idea?

Oh shit, you mean like that fighting tournament a year or two ago where everyone picked a fighter from all manga/anime and then debated. That was crazy lol

Yeah, Natsu probably wins if there are no dragons.

It was Natsu vs Suzaku last tournament, Natsu won that.

I think Acno not being there, plus having a hypothetical full power Aldoron, Merc and Dogramag would've made the matchups more interesting. At least amongst the dragons.

Because it's kinda hard to argue for their nerfed versions, even tho I think nerfed Aldo seed would've won against Selene at least logically (not if Mashima wrote lol), assuming he wasn't nerfed too much.

yes. so it would feel like a real fighting game lol.

for example gray's team consists of gray, juvia, meredy and more chars (depends) and juvia and meredy can be sacrificed for one turn. next round they cant be used again.

Yeah, that would be nice. I liked that fighting tournament. I have also a good nomination in my mind. Hopefully this tournament started this year.

I like the first one, about teams, sounds quite fun.
