I knew she was going to be something like that, even though I have read none of the books. >.>

Since you've read, how would you compare it to the series (I know the series isn't exactly how it is in the books)?

Actually, it's not exactly 4th book... it's 6th book, my bad. I didn't realize that I read that much books--- my books weren't in order til I saw the title. ^^"

Big differences!! I can list a few;

1) Tara [she doesn't appear til 2nd book so technically, she should have her first appearance in 2nd season]
2) Gran Arlene's 1st meet with Bill [there's no Jason & Tara, just 3 people: Gran, Sookie, & Bill having a conservation about Civil War]
3) Sookie asks Bill to glamor her then laughed [it's more like Sookie humbly smiled, "it's not working" then asked him if he can fly so he did it which it didn't show in TV series.]
4) Sookie often is surprised whenever Bill visited her [she's surprised but not in that exaggerated expression.]
5) Bill kills Longshadow [Eric's the one]
6) Sookie's back that's clawed by Maryann is healed by Dr.Ludwig & Bill's blood [it's not only Bill's, it's combination of Eric, Pam, Chow, Bill then later is given a fresh transfusion of human blood]
7) Eric asks Sookie's help for Godric [actually, it was Dallas vampire leader, Stan asks help to find his missing brother, Farrell]
8) Jeannette the exorcist con was found dead in Andy's car [she isn't existed & it was supposed to be Lafayette.]

I'm glad that Lafayette didn't die in TV series... he's one of my favorites.

Just want to know, does a vampire war really occur? Or are we just getting trolled?

This series is getting each episode. It is nice to see how Sookie used her powers again like she did in her fight against the Maenad. Things don't look good because the king has what he wants. Btw, I wonder what the deal is behind the girl whom Jason has an eye on. She seems someone special too and something tells me, it has something to do with nature

I'm a little disappointed with the revelation of the Magister's origin.

I would think that a vampiric product of the Moors would be less fanatical, as most of the vampires appear to cling to aspects of their cultural background.

Ok, Finally caught up!

@Xerous: Eric has a goal right now, which he will do anything to achieve. So I doubt Sookie's cousin will make him think 3 times, cos he'll think twice then do it imo.

Good riddance to the Magister, I started to hate that dude for abusing the power he was given.

So is this the beginning of the end of Bill and Sookie?

Another cool episode, Eric has finally started his revenge and Jason's story with Crystal and the shifters is getting interesting. I see a Tommy and Hoyt confrontation coming up.

Seems like Sookie and Bill are back at it...

I read that she is a werepanther, so chances are high that the shifters will protect crystal and jason against those werepanthers

Talbot being killed, is going to make russell even more mad.

I've read spoilers about the coming episodes and Sookie will be introduced to a new member of her family by Hadley and Sam's storyline is gonna get dark, very dark.

Who says Eric needs to fight a losing battle (he's not Bill, mmmkay)? He's already exacted the level of direct revenge one could hope for in his situation. If Eric can flee quickly, he can contact the "authority" for sanctuary. The amount of dirt Russell granted Eric access to is more than enough to warrant revocation of the former's lands and title (possibly even execution). Holding "two" states, being old, and controlling a pack of werewolves are quite inadequate if his actions prove unpopular. Given the general distaste of werewolves among vampires, Russell is unlikely to garner support for his cause, once said information is made public to vamps (shouldn't be hard to verify thanks to the aggressive assault, which left witnesses, on the Stackhouse home and the conflicting packs of wolves in Jackson). That is, challenging the "authority" and starting a civil war may have been workable only if Russell didn't "ally" with werewolves. As things stand (with knowledgeable traitors in his camp), Russell's boned and the "authority's" position will solidify once Russell is squelched (yes, ironic).

Tbh, I found the episode for most of the parts quite boring. It had some stupid scenes which were too slow paced imo...

The scenes which were amazing:
1. Sam beating up the guy in his own bar
2. Franklin doing his speech against Tara and afterwards instantly being killed by Jason. Damned, I am really going to miss that sick attitude of Franklin
3. Russell announcing his war against the authority and humans

I expect upcoming episodes to be better

How does everyone feel about the show so far? Here are a couple of my thoughts:

Fairies - wth? They made them into some form of golbin. From what Tsuki told me, the books' take on fairies is completely different with kingdom etc and the Sookie's grandfather having an actual role therein. It completely disappointed me. My guess, the whole fairy thing doesn't fit too well with the dark atmosphere of the series with Vamps, blood etc. Oh well.

Were panthers - so far, hating it. Too inbred for my tastes (we already have Bill...), but now Jason at least has some development potential. I would be happier if he was to kill Crystal though.

Eric & witches - so far pretty interesting. I mean, dragging Tara (whose name I keep forgetting) into the story was random so far, but otherwise good. lol@drunk eric.
