What for

Hahaha
"I came"
Nah, sale ended this weekend anyway. Was just curious. Now I'm wondering why Anax didn't answer me though, since he appeared to played a dozen plus hours or so.I missed your messages on Steam. LOTF was lagging so hard on my laptop, so I didn't play it until it was free for PS+ members lul. I dunno if it's worth US$6 considering how bug-ridden the game is until now, but if you get some extra money to spend then sure, why not? I think the game is far less interesting than Metroidvania Souls games like Hollow Knight or Salt & Sanctuary, but if you're hungry for a 3D Souls-like game I think it's pretty OK. Just follow my advice to play as a heavy-hitter, the game is poorly balanced.
Even The Surge looks pretty unremarkable, even though the concept looks somewhat intriguing.

Well there's always a time to buy it during next saleNah, sale ended this weekend anyway. Was just curious. Now I'm wondering why Anax didn't answer me though, since he appeared to played a dozen plus hours or so.
Surge looks interesting too though. Wondering how Code Vein will be too.
Also have Pyre downloaded already, should be interesting.![]()

Ah yes, because Nier is totally just a Souls-likeWell there's always a time to buy it during next sale
Surge was.. eh, I dunno what to think of it until I play it myself, I guess. I think the sci-fi theme can be pretty refreshing, but from a couple videos I've seen about the gameplay, it still has the same kind of clunkiness that I hated in LOTF. Also Code Vein what a weeb lul. Buy Nier A Tomato first you doofus.
Ah yeah I'd pre-ordered the game, but haven't downloaded it yet. It seems the gameplay is completely different from Transistors and Bastion? The music is pretty great though.
! And meh, I'll probably wait for a GOTY edition or something. Still close to $50 on GMG and the Summer Sale wasn't even that good either, at $42. It's one of those games that publishers are in no rush to give big discounts for since it sells too well still.
Yeah I just wanted to remind you that the game exists and you should buy it ASAP. (It's the 2nd best JRPG of the year, but since there's no Persona 5 for PC peasants so)Ah yes, because Nier is totally just a Souls-like! And meh, I'll probably wait for a GOTY edition or something. Yeah, I haven't gotten a chance to start it yet. I've heard it's the weakest narratively, but the best mechanically. The combat mechanic actually makes it feel like a sports game, with comparison to American Football, Basketball, or Blitzball from FF10. Also looking forward to Sundered this week. That is, if I can pick up something other than PUBG or LoL.
Got about 45 hours or so in Andromeda and got somewhat bored. I'll finish it some other time I guess. Also debating picking up Fate/Extella.

"I don't even play LoL anymore" - xi0, 2017. Nier? a JRPG? Do you even know how that word is actually supposed to conveyYeah I just wanted to remind you that the game exists and you should buy it ASAP. (It's the 2nd best JRPG of the year, but since there's no Persona 5 for PC peasants so)
Art-wise the game is so well-made though, if I didn't know it's an indie game, I'd guess it's made by Blizzard. I wanted to buy Sundered, but I've never played Jotun and there's an upcoming Ori sequel so I rather save me monies to buy that game instead. I'd deffo pick it up during sale though. Also did you get back to LoL? life comes at you fast"I don't even play LoL anymore" - xi0, 2017.
Eh I don't understand what's the hype about PUBG. I guess the Battle Royale-esque theme is appealing for some people, but even though it's cheap I don't think I'll buy it.
Just forget about Andromeda dude, the game is getting increasingly ridiculous as the story progresses.
For PC Plebs? I heard Nier's port is kinda dogshit... though maybe that's for people with lower-end PCs, but idk.

Yeah I was expecting somewhere around 10-15 hours of playthrough, but it's just very unlikely considering its price.
It's not even clear what kind of gameplay it'll have. Not sure if it's something more mechanical or essentially a walking simulator.Yeah I was expecting somewhere around 10-15 hours of playthrough, but it's just very unlikely considering its price.
It seems you've started Pyre.. damn maybe I need to play that game soon.
It's going to be pretty strange, considering its promotional material, if it turns out to be a walking simulator. I've heard about The Long Dark weeks ago, but I'm not sure if that kind of survival game is meant for me. Besides, it's still pretty expensive at the moment, I guess I'm not going to buy that anytime soon. It's not even clear what kind of gameplay it'll have. Yeah but I got distracted by other things. The Long Dark's story-mode came out so I got into that finally. Really enjoying it so far, pretty unforgiving survival game.
Well, I'm just saying that I don't see it as a positive sign that there's no real gameplay being shown. Like, it being essentially an Indie game at Indie prices means something other than length could be sacrificed. It's visually impressive and the story might be good, but the gameplay could be awful. Maybe not as likely given what games the developer made in the past, but it's still rather questionable to me.It's going to be pretty strange, considering its promotional material, if it turns out to be a walking simulator. By the way, have you heard about something called 'What Remains of Edith Finch'? regardless of what you think of walking simulator games, I highly recommend you to check that one out. It's definitely a lot better than something like Gone Home (or Tacoma, but I haven't seen that yet).
Yeah, that's why I'm being hesitant about buying it, although I'm still looking forward to it. I thought Long Dark is a semi-horror survival game, and survival horror games are my jam. Maybe I'd like it considering there's a story mode in it, but I'll wait for the sale just as usual.Well, I'm just saying that I don't see it as a positive sign that there's no real gameplay being shown. What kind of survival game do you think it is? Yeah, the price went up after it left Early Access, but I bought it on sale some time ago (under $15 iirc), just never got to play it until after it went full release. Seems the game had better reviews prior to them releasing the first two parts of the story mode, and the game was lauded for it's sandbox mode, which I haven't even tried yet.
I bought it last week on sale actually. I actually don't have anything against walking simulators, I've played a lot of them. I wasn't that negative about Gone Home actually, Tacoma looks interesting but Gone Home wasn't something that blew my dick off or anything, so I'll probably hold off on checking it out.
