What’s ironic is that Sweden’s win against Poland is what got Ukraine through.

For a while there I wasn't sure if I were watching football or live-action Baki.

What a brutal game. I would have enjoyed some penalties but I can't complain, we had our fair share of them the past few days.

It's nice to see them go further than they have before, and kinda fitting it's with shevchenko (slightly worrying that he looks so old, it feels like it was just yesterday he was lifting trophies...).

Isn't Rabiot notoriously a "difficult" person? I understood this was the main reason he didn't make World Cup team. Also read that his mom bad mouthed other players so much that she got into a heated fight with other parents who were watching a game. So heated that security needed to interfere.

He isn't that bad, it's his mum that has a really bad reputation. She is his agent but is also a proper Karen. Burnt down every bridge in Paris on his way out. Mad lady. She is best ignored, which is what Mbappe dad seemed to do judging from the videos.

I think it is more his mother who brings up all the issues. I have no idea why he does not try finding another agent . But yes, she did badmouth the other players in the recent game as well. Mbappe especially:

It's funnier when you realise France lost to those penalities.

Congrats to Spain though. They got there in the end. I doubt they will be able to get through either Belgium or Italy but you never know.
