Oh ok Lukaku wasn't offside because of this wonderful change in the rules: if the defender deliberately plays it, it's on. Passing it to Lukaku didn't look too deliberate to me but I didn't write the rules.

Denmark definitely controlled the game. They had multiple good runs. We made only one solid attack attempt in the whole game. But we made it count.

Still incredible though - I went into this cup thinking that if we take even 1 point we've done good. Now we took 3.

In hindsight maybe better to play tomorrow with a clear head and some rest? Emotions are tiring as well.

The way the penalty went (so so bad) and literally letting in the only Finnish shot in, you can tell it wasn't a great performance. It's now a loss as well as the emotional trauma of what happened.

That's all in hindsight though, honestly I would have done the same thing in their shoes.

I think losing Eriksen all of a sudden really hurt them. The shock, along the loss of Eriksen’s playmaking, gave them a loss of direction.

Read some interviews, and apparently they played pretty much only because Eriksen encouraged it. Finland was like whatever you guys wanna do, and the danish players were like Let's play because Eriksen thought so.

Kudos Finnish media outlets also today featuring childcare associations "How to talk about yesterdays game with children"-guide as a pinned entry in pretty much every media's Euro coverage.

He's such a good player overall. But you can never count on him when it comes to scoring.
Actually a great first half for England. Probably the game will end up 0-0 or 1-0.
