Was expecting England vs France since I had Portugal topping the group. In that case England would have had to kiss the tournament goodbye Though Mbappe having one of his off days might have helped a bit.

Own goals are usually due to lapses in concentration. While 8 is a lot I think it's just a consequence of tiredness. Most of these players are knackered, the majority barely had a week or two off between two full seasons. They are just mentally lapsing. The two Portugal and Slovenia ones are prime examples. Bodies moving without the brain.

The world cup in 6 months will be a bloodbath.
