Great chapter. So Mui will indeed become more active from now on. Were Shen's hair always gray. I don't know if it's the art which improved but I find that he looks better as a Jiangshi.

Andy carrying Fuuko and Gina, Shen hugging Mui and then you have Tatiana looking anxious while watching Juiz and Billy .

Didn't expect Anno to be that high but the arc is recent and I guess it means they liked it.

Ok, Mui had already suffered and was in pain because of Shen's passing. Also, one could say she became the Negator when she killed Shen for good, and therefore that was the traumatic event...but it seems a bit odd. At least IMO. Also, it would need the transfer to happen before Shen died, but before that he would still be carrying UnTruth.

I'm not complaining about it. I was just starting to theorize that God was planning something

I thought it was more often that the first activation of a negation power caused traumatic events (Fuuko making her parents die, Chikara making his parents die, Tatiana making her parents die... geez a lot of these guys killed their parents) Becoming a negator brings the negator and those around them misfortune, but most of the characters seemed to be pretty happy until they got their powers.

I will edit the post. But that's right, I meant the abilities awakening without a traumatic event happening because of it!

People in the WSJ thread are talking about how long they think Undead Unluck will run, and for the record I don't think it will get axed or anything like that. It got me wondering though, how long do you think the series will run? Each season arc seems like it'll last for two volumes, which will realistically put it doing those until around chapter 100. Assuming something goes wrong and they get the 100th penalty, whatever the next set of quests could be one or two arcs, and if Ragnarok happens that could be another arc as well, and if Ark gets used then who knows how many arcs the second loop could be? At this point I feel like if the second loop is a big part of the story or not drastically will impact how long the series is. If it isn't a big part of it, I could see the series running about three years or about 15 volumes, but if we do get a full second loop then at least four years and 20+ volumes. What does everyone else think?

I'm pretty sure it won't be as long as One Piece or even Bleach. The pacing is incredibly fast. Out of all manga in its generation, I think Undead Unluck has the fastest pacing.

Edited the master post at the top. Shen is now under deceased, and added Mui to replace him in the Negators list. Also made sure to add on the list of artifacts we have seen used in the current battle so far.
Think I have not missed anything important.

Between 100-200 chapters. I dont know how many chapters make part of a volume, so my estimates are based on actual chapter numbers.

I've always thought that they'd fail this time and we'd get another loop. But maybe the second loop would last less than this one...at least until the final arc. Anyways, I'd guess that the final length of UU would be around 2x the duration of this first loop indeed.

My guess is that Feng will show us his Negator ability next chapter, an ability that he will use to eventually kidnap Fuuko. It would explain why he focuses so much on martial arts, his own negator ability could be something that is not exactly combat related. Kind of like Todo's Boogie Woogie in Jujutsu Kaisen.

If the next arc is a rescue Fuuko one, it could help boost the series popularity. Those types of arcs tend to be HUGE in Japan. See stuff like the rescue Sasuke arc in Naruto, rescue Ace arc in One Piece (Though at this point the two series had already garnered enough popularity). Soul Society is also an arc that used this trope and it helped boost the Bleach franchise popularity by quite a lot.

I’d been wondering when Top was gonna show up again after the cameo at the beginning of the arc. It’s cool that Tatiana and Chikara are here too, all three need moments to shine more, especially Top since he hasn’t really had an arc yet.

I really like Feng's character so I feel sad that he was denied the proper fight he was seeking. Becoming vulnerable to Untruth instantly destroyed any chance he had at the fight. Every hit he's taken from our boy Shen was under its effects.

I hope that he's not a one time villain and that we get to see more or him like with Unrepair.
