A lot of the time controlled hunting is mandatory due to a variety of reasons. It varies by area, but if hunting was suddenly outlawed, there would be huge problems with certain animal populations. But I definitely think "happy" animals result in better product. That's why organic and naturally raised alternatives, as well as game, seem to be better in nearly every way. Like I said, factory farming can definitely be inhumane, so I'm with them there.

I understand the correlation with human adaptation despite what we were biologically made to do, we're omnivores for a reason. They'll often use the existence of laws and government as a comparison when it comes to consuming animal products or not - being able to "evolve" past natural urges. But more often than not, they forget that we're animals ourselves. I don't think there's anything morally inferior or superior about taking such a stance, but some can get pretty militant and radical about it and it often makes little sense to me. The moral argument doesn't really stand up to scrutiny when you consider the evidence suggesting that some plants are also able to sense pain/death as well.

I actually don't even like egg that much itself. But it's obviously a requirement in almost anything an omnivore cooks or bakes.

I don't have many dislikes with food anymore. Most of the foods and ingredients I didn't like have all grown on me since. Do you only cook for yourself or for others too?

No, I cook for my family as well usually.

Thank you. I'm working on an animation now, so my Insta might be silent for a while, but I try to keep up drawing other stuff too :3

Well, graduated and unemployed. Trying my best to find gigs and jobs, but with slim results. Working on a few artsy film projects on the side, trying to enjoy my life despite financial difficulties.

We all go through that phase at some point (or, well, many of us at least). Keep at it! With true talent it's only a matter of time!

Are you on Goodreads, by the way? I need book recommendations and your taste seems to be similar to mine! If you're not, any book you've read lately which is a can't-miss?

No I'm not. I haven't have time to read much recently. Are you familiar with Robin Hobb? I just recently re-read Farseer trilogy, and it is still as amazing as I remember it as. I think her stuff is up there with Martin and Rothfuss as the best on-going fantasy sagas.

Hobb has been on my to-read list for too long. I don't know why I haven't read anything by her yet (am I terrible to have assumed she was a man until now?).. Also, funnily enough I was just about to start on The Name of the Wind since [confession bear]I've never read a Rothfuss book[/confession bear]. I've had those books at home for a year or so now but haven't really been in the mood for something long and dark. But I mean, winter is coming. What better time for it?
