Info Volume Covers Thread - Part 1

Hmm...do I want to wait until it comes out to get the Jojo artbook with it? Or....?

Now that I have a kindle that's linked with Japanese Amazon, the world is my oyster. Plus I don't have to pay for shipping, I get the books right away and I don't have to make room for them. It's really amazing, TBH. :3

How did you do this? It will take some months until I dare to read a manga in Japanese, but it is better get ready.

There are German, French, Italian and English edition. I thought of buying a German edition of so desperate I was back then. Now I'm calmer, but from time to time I take a look at Amazon.co.jp to see if there is some copy available. It was this way I bought my Tegami Bachi artbook. They put 2 copies on sale out of the blue and I bought without thinking, it was out of stock in the next day, lucky me.

This thing. I just got into addicted to Jojo and I need to rectify the fabulous crime of not having any merchandise.

There are a lot of guides on the internet...This one is the one I used. Unfortunately the downside is you won't be able to read books in any other language. I don't particularly mind, but it's food for thought.

I wanted to have money for this one as well... Artbooks are as awesome as they are expensive...

It is not different from what I already read about it, I have some books in PT, so it would be inconvenient for me... Maybe when I really want to read something and I don't have space to buy physical...

Damn, I so wish I had that (haven't bought anything in 6 months now since I want to go digital with my books / mangas) paying $10 per volume is way too much for me

Oh man, that's... That's really cool, and something I wish I'd been aware of earlier. Gonna have to get a second kindle for it (access to english releases and the like being pretty important for my various things), but that's so handy!

I almost feel a little bad that I'm not keeping up with manga in my native language nowadays. Of course nothing I like ever gets licensed so it's equivalent exchange I suppose. When's the release date for SE Artbook 2?

Lately it's not so bad. They even published Saint Young Men recently. My jaw dropped when I saw that. They are also pretty quick on publishing JUMP manga nowadays. They already have the second volume of AssClass, though it's a shame we have Carlsen…. Every time they license something cool a part of me dies.

I'm trying to move out of my current dwelling so I need to be space conscious. Once I get into a nice house with more room, I might go back to physical for certain series. Of course for things like One piece (Which I do want to own in English at some point) I think digital is better.

It's really great. Though some publishers have taken to it quickly while others are slow to adapt. I'm still waiting for a digital version of Fukuchi's new series...the physical was released in November. That's probably the one hiccup. Though dude, I paid less than 20 USD for the entirety of Ueki +, and now I've been buying Neuro for like 4 dollars a pop. I dare you to tell me that's not amazing.

I've had the next chapter translated for literally a year now and haven't touched the editing, I'm just that lazy.

Redraws. So, so many redraws. Plus it was the winner of a oneshot competition, which meant it got the oneshot published in Young Ace, then another three chapters as a short series, then it was so popular that it was extended to a full, two-volume series, and all that really means is that it got color pages thrown at it like candy. But yeah, mostly the redraws. The "previously on" pages are absolutely freaking hilarious though.
I keep telling myself I'll finally do the next chapter, but then I want to finish Gamma, then there's Hitoribocchi, then Akame comes out and gets my full attention, then someone offered to pay me to do that series about the guy with a gun for a penis that I was planning on doing anyway but yay money... Catgirls just can't demand my full attention anymore, no matter how much I may want them to. Still, might try and do it in the near future.
