Is Jumbor the only thing Takei is working on at the moment? Or is there still something else?

Ultimo is still bi-monthly in Jump SQ19. Jumbor is monthly in Ultra Jump. However both series may end this year. Hiroyuki Takei is scheduled to have a new series/oneshot in Corocoro Aniki starting in March. He may be in the process of changing publishers so... it might be a bit bumpy for the next year.

I just found out that Ahiru no Sora is a basketball manga. By the looks of the cover, it looks like a manga about Literature club. :lmao

Did the author give any explanation about these covers? Is there a purpose? I'm curiuous, sincerely.

The best reasons I can think of is to avoid spoilers and to get more attention(like wtf is this sh*t about, im gonna buy now to find out!) Expect few more "EARLY LAST DAYS" volumes.

Eh, it's an old series so he probably just doesn't want to/doesn't have time to draw the covers and the publisher is cool with it. I think he/she has done it before but not the majority of the time.

Judos and Hi-Fi Cluster have some genuinely well-designed covers, makes it all the sadder that they've floundered
