All of the Jump SQ covers are nice (there are too many awesome artists in that magazine!), but Hotel Helheim's is especially cool. Now I definitely want to read that series.

I hope Kawashita comes back soon with a new work.

The cover is nice, yeah, but I really haven't been able to enjoy the series much. It really just boils down to "this guy is the Sakamoto of a demon hotel, and everything he touches instantly becomes amazing, but with kind of weird art."

Shinai Naru Koroshiya-Sama keeps looking like one of the few actually interesting SQ titles.

Naturally, its existence is pretty much ignored.

I've tried to find a translator, but the first few chapters just really aren't that great. The Ten-to-One arc is absolutely amazing, and the chapters with Matomo are also great but rely on you having read the previous chapters with her, and if you're doing all of those, might as well do the whole thing, and then there's the problem with the few meh chapters. The series probably gets the most laughs out of me in the entire magazine in its good months, even more than Gakumon (although I don't read any of the gag series so dunno if how meaningful that is).

I need more funny manga in my life. Perhaps I'll see if the first volume is available on kindle. The couple of chapters you gave me to read were entertaining enough. When exactly does the series go from "not that great" to "absolutely amazing"?

Not quite sure, I bought the first two volumes after reading it in the magazine but haven't actually read them, so I started from some point in the middle of Volume 2 plus a few from 1. The first few chapters are kind of "weird serious," (you can read the first one over on NicoNico), but the funniest one I've read so far is the one about potatoes. Don't remember which chapter it is, but you should be able to tell which by the table of contents. The Ten-to-One arc is a must-read, it's chapters 11-13 (End of volume 2 and first two chapters of 3), and Matomo's appeared at least once in every volume by now which makes up her arc.

wow they actually released volume 4 for the papakiki spinoff (after more than 2 years)
is this a sign? is the manga finally 'axed' or the hiatus comes to an end?
