This is the main point that makes me wonder if I should really go ahead and read the series. It's in my reading list, I've read until ch4 and like it so far but knowing the author has been on hiatus for 4 years now and UJ makes no mention on when he'll ever come back is a major turn off towards the series.
Y'know, I found your comment interesting so I googled it. Hagiwara is Togashi's life coach. He introduced him to his wife, and the two of them are pretty much the only authors that work with Shuiesha (I use the term "work" very loosely), that do not have fixed schedules. That's pretty crazy.
That's what they did for Anagle Mole back when it was on hiatus in WSS. Fukuchi even thanked them for not removing it entirely.

Hm, checking the latest chapter, I could recognize pretty much all of the kanjis (I knew the readings 90% of the time too) though the way they're combined obviously left me in the dark. Looking back at ch1, I can now recognize 90% of all the kanjis, the rest I don't know.
Good to know. I really like the art and character designs but I could barely read volume one. Maybe I should take another look at it. Where do you get the recent chapters?
