It such a bizarre feeling to see Arakawa's and Kiyu's art side by side on the same page.

I'm still having trouble wrapping my noggin around the fact that Sawai can draw things like fuwari. I'm halfway tempted to buy these just to see what the series is about.

It's also weird to post right after someone who has a quote of mine as their signature. The world's a wild place.

Truly. it's a strange and somehow perfect world.

Fuwari is worth it for the art, but if I'm being honest it mostly sells itself to me off the back of it being SUPER easy to read. That goes a long way for me.

Easy to read huh? Can you give me a tiny little synopsis of the series? I'm planning to do some shopping soon, and right now the only thing on my list is Nejimaki 14. Being the sort of person who likes to buy manga in groups, if Fuwari's description is pleasing enough, I may add it to my Nejimaki order.

I'm still waiting for my Anagle Volume 5. U_U That's what I get for experimenting with different modes of shipping.... But yeah Stalker is friggin awesome. Hitoribocchi looks beautiful as usual, and I'm looking forward to the Aira chapters (when I finally get to them. ) Kigurumi also looks compelling.

For those who want to know, Anagle's inside cover thing says...

Stalker: And like this I can covertly protect Chiwa-tan even under this cover.

This is stalker technique number 8. 'Another cover'.

I support a Stalker X Kurumielu ship.

I'd hate to go too detailed for fear of being wrong about something (i'm really that bad, even at reading kids' comics (and yet i keep picking up seinen titles ¬_¬)), but basically it takes a handful of Bo-BoBo characters and puts them in the modern day, and turns it all into a light-hearted slice-of-life style thing about Beauty (now a 14 year-old student) and Don Patch (now a cuddlier "mascot") as they go about their ordinary lives. The hook is the mascots, the weirder Bo-BoBo characters, who are basically popular pets owned by the many, many cutesy girls in the comic. So far a small amount of them have turned up, like Kopatch, Hanpen (who's totally just a head now, and belongs to Rem), and with volume 2 we finally have Tennosuke.
It's weird because the first chapter presents like an evil cat mascot and it and Don Patch face off, but that's the only real conflict so far in (because... as if you could count Don Patch and Tennosuke playing around as a 'conflict').
