Magi Volume 21 LQ
I'm a sucker for slightly off beat Slice of life, and Bobobo really was a fun (albeit odd) series....plus dat art. I suppose I could throw a little money it's way and buy the first two volumes when Nejimaki 14 is released. Thanks for the description comrade. I literally cannot find anything other than vauge little snippets of the series. Besides it'd be nice to have something easy to read after breaking my brain over Gintama and stuff.I'd hate to go too detailed for fear of being wrong about something (i'm really that bad, even at reading kids' comics (and yet i keep picking up seinen titles ¬_¬)), but basically it takes a handful of Bo-BoBo characters and puts them in the modern day, and turns it all into a light-hearted slice-of-life style thing about Beauty (now a 14 year-old student) and Don Patch (now a cuddlier "mascot") as they go about their ordinary lives. The hook is the mascots, the weirder Bo-BoBo characters, who are basically popular pets owned by the many, many cutesy girls in the comic. So far a small amount of them have turned up, like Kopatch, Hanpen (who's totally just a head now, and belongs to Rem), and with volume 2 we finally have Tennosuke.
It's weird because the first chapter presents like an evil cat mascot and it and Don Patch face off, but that's the only real conflict so far in (because... as if you could count Don Patch and Tennosuke playing around as a 'conflict').
Can't say I'll envy you when you do get there. Ayla/Ayra (pretty sure it's one of those) is nice and all but good LORD she does not shut up. She's the reason I still have no clue what was going on for most of volume 3.Hitoribocchi looks beautiful as usual, and I'm looking forward to the Aira chapters (when I finally get to them. )
Huh, did not know the author was female. I should really stop assuming everyone's a guy.I've seen some of those before. Pretty sure the artist is a chick though.
I guess I'll have a look around for them since the art is compelling and all that jazz.
See, Ayla (likes that one better.), is still better than all of Gintama where no one shuts up.
Yeah. It could be Gintama with a monthly amount of pages. That notion actually keeps me from sleeping at night. Luckily some stalwart individual at Shuiesha saw fit to take two pages away from Sorachi leaving him with seventeen as of late rather than nineteen.Huh, did not know the author was female. Gintama doesn't have a monthly amount of pages though... yeah, that argument doesn't work that well. Still something for you to be glad about though. It could always be worse!
Oh, her introduction was fairly memorable. Pretty sure it even made Kouichi's heart skip a beat.Yeah. It could be Gintama with a monthly amount of pages. Though TBH I barely remember Ayla's intro. I guess I'll have to get through volume two to see her.
....You know I'm going to pester you to put volume 3 up now man. You know that.Oh, her introduction was fairly memorable. Pretty sure it even made Kouichi's heart skip a beat.
...I'll leave now.
I could be tempted to do so. Thing is, I was planning to wait until volume 2 was finished before doing anything with 3. If only there were some way to get to that point faster... yeah, I got nothing.....You know I'm going to pester you to put volume 3 up now man. You know that.
On topic, do you think you could also upload all of Anagle's covers here? It'd be nice to have them in one place ----post.you could upload them after volume 3 of Hitoribocchi.
