Love at first sight? Yeah usually I tend to see if there is some good eye candy in these covers and if I pick something up I tend to look for some whacky cover drawing that would make me want to read it. Otherwise some covers can be misleading as manga can turn out really bad, or bad covers can have good manga hidden in them.

I do this too. Unfortunately for me, most of the covers that catch my eye are neither licensed or scanlated. Because of that, I have a love/hate relationship with this thread and the color page thread :'(
