Cheese in the Trap - 치즈인더트랩

Having returned to college after a year long break, Hong Sul, a hard-working over-achiever, inadvertently got on the wrong side of a suspiciously perfect senior named Yoo Jung. From then on her life took a turn for the worse and Sul was almost certain it was all Yoo Jung's doing. So why is he suddenly acting so friendly a year later?

Usually I run away from romcoms like a witch from water. But Sheer realism of this story means has made me click click click and keep wanting more.

The story is set in a college, and features realistic college problems like assignments, group work, scholarships, tuitions, rents, food, family pressures, internships and future job prospects etc.

Romance is only a small subset of the story.

The focus Female MC is surprisingly sensible, and is wary instead of dumb.

The Male MC has a clear dark streak to his supposed perfect persona, and we see them via flashbacks.

I like this manhwa, and wish the difference between Raws and scans weren't so high.

Baek In Ho plays the Piano, Euntak and Bora move no where, Minsoo is still crazy, and so is OYG.

I've been waiting for so long for Cheese in the Trap to end as I don't really read ongoing series. For now I've been watching Cheese in the Trap (Korean drama) to entertain myself. And it's great!

Judging from the pace, it will probably take forever for this series to end. :XD At least there is a drama (and movie soon!) to satisfy your thirst even though it gets disappointing at the end.

I read the webtoon after I finished with the drama. It feels better because I can read most chapters in one go, otherwise the waiting period must be painful because too little happens in each chapter. Great additional information compared to the drama, though. I especially enjoyed that Jung has more extreme ends in the webtoon. Probably that's because the way he's drawn though, he often have this simple, childish, innocent smile that makes you melt but also scared about what's going on beneath the facade.
