Publisher Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings (2009-2015)

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Looks like Kaminomi got a little bit of a boost. It usually takes two weeks to sell over 100,000, unless an OVA comes bundled. Maybe Megami-hen was a little more popular than seasons I and II.

Blame on Shingeki no Kyojin

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Everybody blame Shingeki. xD
I wonder how much time the anime influence will last. Still some months I think.

[Kaiten]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

The anime started last April. Volumes 1 - 10 have been charting for about six months now.

Yamadawas never that a big hit anyway and ( to me ), the story is not as interesting as in its beginning.

Wow a shinkegi is nearly falling off the chart, I guess its reign is coming to a close swiftly.
Haikyuu!! And kurobas suggest the future is strong for sports, hopefully haikyuu gets higher once april comes around.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

i thought assassin classroom would do much better after the huge increase over the first volumes.could it be that it quite stalled after the 4th?

also magi does great. it will be interesting to see if the second anime season change anything. kangoku also does great for such a "nice/erotic" manga.

Well, that sale is based on just three days, so the next week's sale would be just little bit lower than this week.

Just wait till the spin-off of Shingeki no Kyojin from Aria gets its first tankobon.
The magazine sold out because of it.
I'm expecting big numbers.

K Memory of Red being up there is extremely pleasing.

I'll bet in one more week with 40k, sales more or less.

Naruto passed the 1 million barrier. Finally.

It's always nice to see so many unknown (to me) series saying hi in the charts.

Naruto passed the 1 million barrier. Finally.

it's a relieve since the previous one didn't. one piece though seems to sell less as it doesn't seem it will reach the 3M mark as it used to. maybe it will stay on the charts like that till November but i doubt it. the previous volume too didn't reach the mark but it came very close if i recall correctly so it might have reached it after falling from the charts
