Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

like overall. people don't have money anymore to buy stuff instead of the beginning of the month.

Not that, there really aren't much volumes release on end of the month.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

It is confirmed that Eien no Zero (the novel by Hyakuta Naoki) is recorded as the highest selling book series in Oricon. Before that is the volume 61 of One Piece.

Does this take in mind the sales of One Piece volumes released before Oricon started collecting sales data? Volume 1 of One Piece is still in print and might have sold more. I guess we will never know though.

Yes, we never know the figure for One Piece's volumes which released before 2008.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Koe no Katachi stays 4 consecutive weeks, I guess it very impressively for new series.

And Noragami re-ranks. glad anime show sign of success and helped manga popularity. deserve it.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I dont really think one could say noragami was a success on the manga selling front due to the anime as 12k is just rather low, but if it sold at this pace for weeks, thats great.

it has 140k and sells quite high for a new mangaka and its second volume. world trigger from jump is at the 4 volume and only got 60k even with jumps heavy promotion. koe does great for a "niche" manga.

I was mentioning noragami as thats the one blader described as anime show is success yielding it popular manga sales since the anime aired.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

When was AKB49, Denpasar and Vinland Saga released? Particularly Vinland, cause a series that good deserves >100k sales

And Kodansha found themselves another hit series: Noragami. Look at that sales. Before I remember it was a 50k seller

[Drmke]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Good numbers for Isobe!! Obviously good numbers for a gag I mean but it could pass PSI in sells relatively easily if it increasing at a normal pace.

[Kaiten]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I'm glad to see that the anime boosted Noragami's sales. I don't read the manga, but I really like the anime.

[susanoo13]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Noragami doubled in sales, I believe it will reach 150K before long which would be great, DAMN whatever Bones touches at the very least doubles in sales, last time Zetsuen was a 70K seller and rose to ~170K so I wonder how will Chaika do after getting the Bones treatment.
Shokugeki so close to the 300K, I want to see it break that mark already and it probably will either next week or next volume in 3rd week like now.

[Blader]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Noragami anime help a lot. and it obviously will not stop here.
I hope at the end Noragami will atleast reach 200k marks. this manga and especially Adachitoka deserve this. Tadashi Kawashima in the heaven surely proud for them.

Don't know it have limited edition or not(but I remember it had) if it had, it even more impressive.
