Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Nisekoi surpassed the so called unachievable 300k mark. Very happy to see that and I hope that the sales don't decrease after anime ending and it's enough to get a second season.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

GiriGiri safe.. and won't rank more than 3 weeks. That ep 19 made was so strangely made that chitoge became even more unlikable than in the manga, cutting the legs of the volume.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Nisekoi already sold more than the entire last year, with a difference of 1 million. One of the most successful series inside Jump currently.

One Piece had just one volume compiled, for those who will comment SnK rise to the top.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Titan had 1 more volume but... That one volume alone doesn't sold almost 4 million. Titan won even just counting older volumes sales.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

What? Daiya no Ace is way bigger sale than I predicted. I'm just predicted it around 1.5-2m but 3m? crazy.

And as expected from Noragami. too bad anime just had 1 cour and just released 2 new volumes. otherwise I'm sure it would managed in top10.

[meeedoooz]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

AoT at the top, wonderful. i hope it continues like that the other half. KnB and magi are really proving themselves, i very much enjoy both of them.

man naruto is as stable as it can get, come on rise a little

40 volumes is a lot of backlog, new readers had a lot of catching up to do
Impressed with shingekis sales, definitely expected it to be first but those numbers are still very impressive. Hopefully it beats 15mill at the years end.
I'm surprised prison school is doing so well

[SharkBait]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Haikyuu!! ought to make the top 7 by years end, too hard to say where the rest of top 7 will align with with a few other series boosted by animes being there, I guess Hoozuki could fall off if it doesnt have many new volumes.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Well, but Daiya sale didn't boost that much like Kuroko or something, that why I'm surprised.

Magi #20 and #21 have 100k different margins despite volume 21 just released 3 month later. I guess Magi sale going start to decline already.

I'm more surprise Uchuu Kyodai can't manaaged in the list.

LOL at Toriko not even in Top30 and Jump still try to made it as "BIG 3"??

[Leoat12]

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I hope Noragami numbers can guarantee a second season for it as well as Nisekoi and other stuff. Making a simple calculation I saw that more than half of Nisekoi sales was made by old volumes, the anime added very much to the fanbase.

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

Titan is a young hot series. Selling old volumes is easy. They're just a dozen and easy to find. One Piece is a 17 years old WEEKLY manga with almost 75 volumes and more than 300 millions of copies already sold, selling again 2 millions of old volumes is imho already spectacular.
The fact that Titan is the best selling series of the first half of the year isn't so surprising.

Did I say the contrary? I just saw one comment saying op would win with 2 volumes.. Which wouldn't happen, op doesn't even sell 3 million quickly like before. (For the record, I dislike Titan even more than op)

Re: Weekly Oricon Comic Rankings

I'm not questioning Shingeki numbers, I'm just commenting that people tends to compare what is incomparable. People say "SnK surprassed One Piece, One Piece is in crisis blablabla" forgetting to mention what Kubukurin just said.

Cleary your argument was only the volume counting of the two series, in first half of the year. But whatever.. What I see is Titan getting closer and closer to op in the newest volume sales. Doesn't mean op is doomed or anything, but the prime time seems to have passed.
