i wouldn't vote for a established series like naruto/one piece. even if they are in the bottom 5, nothing won't change cause of the well selling takoubons.

It will be the end of september/early october, when we see the voting for the latest issue? I would really like to know how the [prior] Big 3 placed this time, each with a top chapter.

So you're an indie supporter.^^ But voting just for the sake of pushing the less selling series isn't the aim of it too.

Don't get me wrong! I mean series like ST&RS that i like and that don't have enough fan support because of being a new series.

They somehow wont show from your links, but if I preview it with my own code[C&P lol] it's showing the picture...

What's the contents of SAIKYO jump? All those SD SJ series that were scanlated by MS some month ago, a junior shounen magazine? And only 4 issues a year? Somehow all those One-Shot's from released some time ago gone past me without notice... does someone has the ToC of Junp NEXT! or list of those released in WSJ?

SAIKYO jump

Will delete it, if it's just a problem on my side.

You're wrong, you can just look onto Hirashi's twitter page provided by RocketWobbuffet. He's always posting birthdays from favourite characters and info on Jump series, being the editor-in-chief of WSJ.

Saikyo Jump is the one that had the chibi spin offs: Dragonball SD, Chopperman, Rock Lee's Spring Time of Youth, and Vongola GP Kuru. It's a seasonal kids companion magazine. Jump Next is the successor to Akamaru Jump, mostly one shots by new mangaka and a few by established artists trying to get back into Weekly Jump.

I don't know if anyone's said this, but the upcoming HxH anime is going to retell the story from the start.

I just hope that they won't abandon the idea after about 50 episodes.

It's possible that they could cancel the anime after 50 episodes, I doubt it though, It sadly all comes down to whether it sells or not. But it is HXH so I'm pretty sure it'll be fine, why cancel something if you're making a killing off it?

And a stupid question, I'm sure, but what exactly is Jump Next??? Does it have any of the regular series in it? is it a bunch of bonus chapters??? I am confused....

Jump NEXT is the new name for Akamaru Jump. It was the first magazine the duo entered in Bakuman. It features one shots from amateurs, but it also has bonus material for current WSJ series. Hokenshitsu is getting a 50 page epilogue, and D.Gray-man got a 50 page chapter back in 2009. Other established series just get a page or two for 4koma or whatnot.

I wanted to ask is there a place where you could find a list of only the TOC's of the years 2008 and 2009 without any discussions?

It got me a little interested to see how certain mangas were ranked at the beginning of their way in order to compare to current mangas yet reading the entire discussions here of 2 years would take quite some time, TIA.

This site goes back pretty far. It's done in livejournal posts so the comments are hidden until you look into it.
http://weeklyjump.livejournal.com/

This site shows the general position of all the manga going back to 1999:
http://hamada.tsukaeru.info/jump/
But they stopped updating it around like January.
And this site:
http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~starman/index.htm
Has everything from 2000 going back. Also they have some stuff from 2003 and thumbnails of all the covers.

I dunno if there's any one comprehensive site out there. Anyone know of one?

Even though it's probably been mentioned before it's still my favourite jump ranking site.
http://island.geocities.jp/missileman_hp/jump/jump.html

Rankings from 1996 - 2011 issue 30, shows which series has Lead CP but does not show which series have colour pages.

I have a question:

Has anybody read Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock on MS? is this written by Toriyama himself or not??

I don't think it's Toriyama that has written it. As the chapter itself says: "Original concept and director: Akira Toriyama."

Oh, thanks ^^. But the story is certainly interesting, I guess. To be honest, out of all DBZ characters, I had wanted to know more about Bardock and he is considered as one of the characters I'm most interested in. I'm really glad Toriyama decided to work on Bardock's story.
