I can see your point Schrabrak but the thing is that St&rs is there for a point although plummeting down in my first post I said that a series that didn't get a color page at chapters 8-10 got canceled before chapter 20 and St&rs passed chapter 30, the reason I believe that it got color pages like it did is the result of the first 4 chapters which ranked very good, in the rank of chapter 5 it nose dove to the bottom.

Abot color pages being given in order to promote sries I can think about that happening like the times Kuroko polled poorly and being given a color page the next chapter since it was the only sports manga that sold well after ES21 ended or like what's happening right now with Medaka which gets a lot more color pages than what it got before...I simply tend to believe that is more or less what's happening to Kurogane right now since it had it's high ranking(it got a 4th which is a great feat), it has extra pages like Mago got back in it's second year which means that Jump has the faith in the author's skill to draw more than 19 pages per week, I would like to see the last time Kishimoto was given a 23 pages chapter or even a 20 pages chapter yet I can't take that and say Jump doesn't count on Kishimoto since he still gets plenty of covers and lead color pages which can be lots of worl as well and I love every one of them but you get where I'm going with this.

First of all Momiji has been ranked once and not twice, it's last chapter was 9 since it debuted at issue 23 and at least by what I have picked up here chapters are ranked 8 weeks after their printing, looking at Magico, Enigma, Kurogane, HQ!!, Psi kusou Saiki, St&rs got color for chapter 7 and 13 and let's look on series that didn't get any color pages up to chapter 10...Sengoku armors, Dois sol, Grimm, Ikkyu, Swot, Light wing, that's why I called it an educated guess and instead of Momiji getting a color page like Saiki it's contender for the same genre Nisekoi got the color page which is bad news for it at least the way I see it - nothing psychic about that just like I don't use my crystal ball to guess that Bulge will get a color on issue 33 or less probable 34...although I'm leaning on very little information best thing that will happen is that I'm wrong and those who love the series get to enjoy it longer - it will be even better if I'm wrong when I think about it but still just felt like I wanted to give my take on things

I still don't get it. Based on nothing more than color pages you can somehow predict a series will end in about eight issues despite only one ranking, and no bottom five appearances. Are you sure you do not have magical powers?

Since Matsui is in the mood, if you look at Neuro first ranks, they are similar to Momiji ones. Sket Dance and Medaka Box are also series which ranked terrible in the beginning but manage to survive and do well after. On the contrary some series with an early second color page like Paki, Ane Doki or Double arts were cancelled rapidly so you can't really tell.

Conversely there are plenty of manga that did not receive color between chapter 8 - 10 and lasted for years. Mago did not, nor did Sket Dance. Mago lasted four years, Sket Dance five and still serialized.

Lock On! is another counter example since it got a color page at chap 7, but cancelled at chap 18.

That's a bit what i implied when I wrote 'ranked terrible'. It took forever for Medaka box to have its first one.

PSI Kusuo Saiki above Naruto? That's certainly impressive, even if it's still unrakned. Will this finally be the series Asuo can get going for a long-term series?
Gintama, Sket Dance, and Beelze all high this week. Nisekoi still doing well. Bleach and Reborn both pretty low, as they have been mostly lately.
I'm predicting Koisome Momiji ends in 38 chapters. I made that number up completely out of thin air.

And Kuroko still can't catch a break in the rankings despite it's recent great sales.

Also Toriko is 1st again. Yay.

I hope Takamagahara does okay, because I thought it looked kinda cool.

(Also, basing it on the page numbers in my raws, I think it's real. Toriko starts at page 83, which makes sense after the intro pages and a 60-page new series. They only write the page numbers occasionally, but checking MT's raws, this seems accurate)

Since Magico first ranks are usually high (in 2009 and 2010 most of the new series started in bottom and finished after few chapters) and series lost longer sales are not great and so far of this series the only real hit is Nisekoi.

That TOC is definitely fake. Looking at the Mangateers RAW's:

Medaka Box started on page 369 and finishes on page 390 and Bleach starts on page 391.

It is impossible for Kochikame to be between Medaka and Bleach. The Medaka Box early spoiler probably just made another mistake yesterday saying that Kochikame was below Medaka and the guy that posted the fake TOC went along with it.

They usually have commercial ad pages for games and such in the beginning and between series. So the series after the Lead can still start at 80+.
