Indeed. He seems fine with the scenario, as is Shueisha. There's no other reason to change it other than to appease impatient fanboys and that doesn't amount to much at Shueisha. It hasn't hurt sales obviously.

Like xi0, I think there is little chance HxH moves to monthly serialization.

I would say it would have to be his choice. There are enough profitable titles in WSJ that if Togashi wanted and was able to move to SQ it would only increase SQ's profile so there would be huge benefit to the magazine and that imprint as well if such a thing happened. But Togashi probably enjoys being in the most popular manga magazine in Japan so why move? Hoshino move apparently for health reasons, so it isn't the same.

What kind of chapters are going to be Jump Next anyways? I know that the conclussions of Magico and Mago will be there, but for the other new series in jump. Are they just going to have a plot unrelated one-shot kind of thing? It can hardly be part of the normal plot when it's in a different magazine, can it?

mostly 4-komas und little 3 page long joke chapters unrelated to the main story, side perspectives or funny scenarios.

Jump NEXT is predominately comprised of one shots by new mangaka. One Piece and Naruto both debuted in Jump NEXT (then called Akamaru Jump), as well as Island, Komi Naoshi's classic debut one shot. Many artists who have had series canceled are reintroduced with one shots in Jump NEXT. The purpose of the magazine is to introduce new, up and coming artists. On occasion, the last chapter of canceled series will appear in Akamaru/Jump NEXT, if the series was canceled short of the page count needed for a full tankobon. Having three chapters released in Jump NEXT is atypical, Mago is the only series I have ever heard of receiving such treatment. In addition the aforementioned extras and bonus material are included in every issue.

If rankings were a perfect indication of how long a series last, Bulge would end at chapter 15; it's following the path of Kikai Banashi exactly with its unrecoverable rock bottom drop at chapter 11.

Kurogane is either bottom 4th or 5th but he can't remember which one.

And I have hope that Kurogane's gonna last for some more. Anyone thinks they know when the next cancellaion round is coming?

Seems like the internet search extremely low ranks were not that weird in the end. pajama didn't renew its last week rebound, kurogane has been low for 2 months now survive either, Momiji also starts to be in a pinch. It seems like we will have a serie of cut next time. The success of the new series we had lately seems to fade.

Surprising that Bleach is absent. Hope nothing happened to Kubo-san after the latest chapter. I would be joking but with some rabid fans, you never know.

Bulge is doing terrible. Is it really that bad?

I'm guessing that either Medaka Box and Kurogane are in the bottom 5 or its Gintama/Reborn.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Naruto or OP as rank 1 but I think it will be Toriko.
