Maybe a new series in the #2?
Its a bit of both isn't it ? On one hand you have parallel world, time travelling and on the other you have animals with magical powers coming out of boxes ( If this is not a fantasy I don't know what is ). The entire concept of flames is basically fantasy ,but you make good points so I would say both with bigger emphasis on theWhen was there fantasy? Major antagonist is from a parallel world world travelling, Choice, time travelling, Acrobaleno, etc. What is supernatural or fantasy about it?
The box is still a manmade object imbued with the power of science, many were even enhanced with the power of mechanical engineering, computer aided design, and more. [when tsuna could see the level of flame power for example]Its a bit of both isn't it ? The Royal Capital Arc had just started and the riot was about to begin. Thats all. What was the 2nd BLack Clover cover for.
Buddystrike?A lot of wasted potential here. I really had high hopes for kagamigami and roggy. Never the less 2 new series survived 2015 ( not counting Mononofu since it is not apparent whether this series is a doomed or not ) and found somewhat of a success. Hopefully 2016 will have more.
They all have magical powers. Their internal magical energy manifests itself through flames. When was there fantasy? Major antagonist is from a parallel world world travelling, Choice, time travelling, Acrobaleno, etc. What is supernatural or fantasy about it?
It only has 3 chapters are you actually considering it a success ?Buddystrike?
Its hitting all the right notes, I can't see how it wont be a success. It only has 3 chapters are you actually considering it a success ?
Interesting, if you are praising it that much I guess I could give it a shot. Still withholding my opinion on it until it reaches 10 chapters. Its hitting all the right notes, I can't see how it wont be a success.
These don't really seem like plot holes their more just you nitpicking at World Trigger. I mean smuggling weapons, how do we know that the Marines in One Piece aren't smuggling weapons to other islands. I'm not to familiar with One Piece so correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there some islands out there with there own army.It doesn't matter if Border is a competent military organization or not, the thing is, no government would allow the existance of a 3rd party organization as strong and as advanced as Border with out said organization being a subsidiary of the military. Speaking of which, World Trigger is very narrow sighted. Not only would the Japanese government have to deal with "Neighbors" but they would also have to deal with the smuggling of weapons to foreign powers (U.S., China, Russia, etc.). You can defend it by saying "it's only just a shonen" but a good story in general wouldn't have plot holes like that. It's the authors fault for not discussing things like that. Simply put, he didn't think things out thoroughly.
And I discussed the child soldier part. I get the in-story reasoning behind it, but the fact that protesting and protesters don't play a major role in World Trigger is a bit hard to believe. People are sensitive to all kinds of things. Heck, just look at America with all the protesting going on over at those universities. People are going to look down on the use of child soldiers. Even with the trion bodies, people are going to complain.
World Trigger just feels like a seinen with shonen characters. That, to me, is it's biggest flaw.
I think he means that it would do better as a seinen, and it has been dumbed down to a shonen. These don't really seem like plot holes their more just you nitpicking at World Trigger. And about the protesting of child soldiers, why aren't their people in Naruto and Black Clover protesting the use of kids as ninjas/magic knights. I mean really man just nitpicking here. Your trying to bring real world problems into a shonen manga a manga that's meant to be for kids. And how World Trigger feel like a seinen never once have I felt like I was reading a seinen.
