I should point out that the audio post is only the first part of the chapter and will be four parts long. The first chapter is already up though, and it's quite good. Sket Dance sense of humor with nice art, and a likable (albeit very airheaded) heroine. Shame it has no furigana, so it's a bit harder for me to read, but I hope it lasts a while.

Viz will be realzing Batsu as part of their jump start lineup.

Sucks, I was thinking of working on it now that I've read the oneshot. Oh well, one less thing for me to worry about I suppose.

Jump Start just means they're doing the first three chapters. Most likely they won't pick up anything new full-time until something they already have ends.

Yeah I dont understand the sadness over it, as it doesnt seem like something they will really continue after the first three chapters.

I think it's more that if they pick up too many series, they'll have to start charging more for subscriptions to make up the extra cost of translating them. Can't think of any other reason they wouldn't have picked up some more recent successes.

Ive been more surprised that they wont put Haikyuu in the magazine, unless theyll do it once the print releases are caught up somewhat.

Yeah, but I doubt I'll have the motivation to pick up a translation after three chapters have been already done, but then I'll also have a neurosis about starting from chapter four. Yes, I'm needlessly complex.

That being said, it is probably pretty unlikely they'll get it anytime soon since nothing else they're doing is gonna end quickly, so I might reconsider later.
