Ashihara? His art is so stiff and generic. He's one of the weakest artists in the magazine by far.

Honestly I was close to including him too. I quite like his artstyle. People have always complained about the blandness but I don't really see it personally.

My favorite artists would have to include Oda, Saeki, Hirokoshi, Kawada, and Furudate.

At least that's what I can say before I'm offline for a while. Can't really say much about happened, but I'd rather not involve anything highly personally around here (even if that person meant alot to me when growing up).

My current top would have to be Oda, Horikoshi and maybe Togashi when he's back. Miura and Saeki are good but I'm not really fond of their style. From the first time I read Soma and after I read over the beginning of Yuuna-san, I honestly felt that their art is too perfect. It might be because of they draw digitally but their lines are too perfectly curved and straight without any small hint of say stopping or slight shake of the hand. While they may look really nice and clean, it just slightly pulls me away instead. It might be why Samon wasnt really to my taste after the first few chapters.

Evry Artist suck now. This is way the volums dont sell. Most of this crap would be canceledif it was in the 90s. Only saiki is good.

The attacks on Togashi are bizarre.
Sure, he's put out the occasional scribble, but when he actually tries his art blows pretty much any other WSJ artist out of the water.

The only thing Togashi has going for him artwise is his decent panelling. Especially now that he is heavily relying on assistants.

Togashi has a few good character designs (killua pokkle feitan), but otherwise his environments and everything artwise is lacking, its like hes stuck in 1990's era artistry.

Boy the Gold, a gymnastic manga can be fresh, but nothing special, sorry.

Tanaka Seiji, great art, epic, absurd, and battle? I love it!

Taketoritsuki, great art, romance, folktale, and battle. Gorgeous.

Barabarujura, not bad again, but conventional, robot-monster pilot by a girl, and delinquent boy helps to fight.

Tanaka Seiji or Taketoritsuki for me, please.

tokyo ghoul set up with attack on titans power up

nothing special so far

I see that most people are betting on Boy The Gold to win.
Taketori was a bit inconsistent with the art, mainly the character designs.
Legacy for me, art wise was probably the strongest but the story was weak.

Enjoying yes chapter 1 of Amalgam quite a lot

Amalgam is way to dark for the magazine, starving skeleton and bones and a half death encounter, really this is not good. At least with Promised Neverlands dark chp 1 it did eventually become a bestfriends occasin (chp 10 with that Norman Ray thing, wow incredible).

Amalgam at least has a good main character design and a prince saving his friend in distress so it kept me hooked.

I love the fact that the MC kinda got the girl in chapter 1. I'm sure something will go wrong and he'll probably miss their date, but I like that it's pretty much established that they like each other and unofficially go out
