So are these Bleach Novels actually going to have any new content or will they just be summary books...

Gonna wait for some more weeks, but it seems so far that Japanese readers share my vision of The Promised Neverland. If it continues falling, it will be in danger in no time.

It should pick up since emma is no longer the focus. I think theyre in agreement that she has no role in the story or the role remains elusive.

It's obviously just the editors playing mind games. Very appropriate given the content of the series, I don't see how anyone can think otherwise.
I do agree that Emma needs to actually do shit though.

Do you think so? Have you seen editors playing mind game with series they want to be successful? XD
The authors have to choose a path to this series, really... I don't see a future... What will happen after they finally go out after 684684 chapters? They die? Like, look at that little kids, they have nothing besides their intelligence and it is already not enough since they are barely standing right now. I don't see coherence in the series right now, you know what I mean?

So The Promised Neverland does have a female MC... I wanted to read it just for that but you guys are saying that she lost her relevance? That's the thing I hate the most with female characters in shounen so is it really true?
Oh and I think that whoever mentions mind games in this thread beside one (maybe?) is being sarcastic at this point xD

Shes essentially the generic stupid, overly emotional MC in most series. The other 2 mains are incredibly smart, and now they have taken centre stage. She will be relevant again, but atm things are looking too complicated for her to play a part.

Btw, in 2 weeks we'll have 6 series under 16 chapters... Its getting worse lol, thats like a third of the magazine.

The problem with her is that she is the usual Shounen protagonist: "not too bright, but with heart of gold". On other hand, her two compatriots are intelligent and as such they have a bit more to do here. However, I expect Emma to get more relevance whenever the actions starts, though she is already important for the morality of the two male leads (one who dislikes her naivety, the other one who adores it).

Thanks for the answers! Well I guess I will put Neverland in my to read list anyway, just I will wait a bit before starting it to see if she takes the center again as an active player in the story. I do appreciate that apparently she is a bit of a moral compass though (with flaws).

Dancing and Sumo say hi
Damn, those two completely slipped my mind. How could i forget about Sumo, I'm really enjoying it. The dancing one doesn't really interest me though. It doesn't really fit in Jump in my opinion, it doesn't seem hotblooded enough. But yeah, not sure how i could forget Hinomaru Sumo.

Yes, there is, although you will never recognize her if you change her skirt for pants. It is another problem of the series, the drawing is not so good in making distinctions between sex. hahahaha
In fact, when I first saw The Promised Neverland I thought she was a boy.

I'm so damn hyped for the next round.
A little sad that Galaxy Gangs isn't what Moue went with, but I've been wanting a new sports manga for a while and I'm excited to see what he can come up with. Even if it's just for a short serialization.

Neverland should be fine. We don't seem to have any series that consistently stays near the top other than MHA, Black Clover and One Piece.

Lol that Promised Neverland ranking.

Please tell me Red Sprite stays that way or lower next time. It's been so boring I had to drop it but regardless seems like it'll get axed.

I gotta confess that I also thought she was a boy from the first promotional arts (how the hell I didn't notice the skirt is beyond me) that's why I wasn't sure and I asked xD Yeah I hope the art will improve if the series survives in the magazine.
