Samon the Summoner is pretty bad. I wonder how it even made it past the editors as its really slow and doesnt really take off. I assume the demon and spirit aspect is to give jump an answer to twin star exorcists, BLue Exorcist, and Seraph of the End, but this manga isnt it.

Thanks to the Viz Anon on 4chan i could read the first chapter of Samon the Summoner and honestly, it's boring.
The whole story revolves around the main heroine being an "angel like" person and Samon who wants to corrupt her (by making her be late to school or eat more than she should) so that she becomes a bad person. Samon's power to summon demons is useless because he has to draw his enchantments every time again and the stronger the demon is the bigger the enchantment has to be. The only one he was able to draw on paper was a small fire demon and he had to make around 80 copies of that to defeat a weakling demon.

Well, i think it won't stay in WSJ for too long.
