For Jump 50th anniversary, I would wish a book about its history and its titles. And that book being translated to english. It's a wild dream, but ey, in Spain we have had books for anniversaries of Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and then Nintendo and its main franchises (Pokemon, Zelda, Mario).

A 50th anniversary book with Kochikame, Kinnikuman, Captain Tsubasa, Hokuto no Ken, Dragon Ball, City Hunter, Saint Seiya, JoJo, Rokudenashi Blues, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, Kenshin, Yu-gi-oh, One Piece, HunterxHunter, Bleach, Death Note, Kuroko no Basket, Haikyuu, Assasination Classroom, Hero Academia, etc, etc, etc. It would be so sweet.

PD: If that book happens, I bet Shueisha bans the word ''Mazinger Z'' as always.
OMG i would love this.

Another awesome thing would be an art book, similar to the ones that individual series typically get. but the artbook contains every Jump cover. distributing royalties would probably be a mess though

Isnt that somewhat what the three “generation” books that have been coming out are about. The ones where everyone was commenting about missing characters not long ago. Though they won’t get translated, and I believe you can’t even buy them outside of a particular event.

You can check out the Uniqlo site yourself.

There may be a seniority thing going on.

As far as I can see the newest series on there is Haikyuu.

Haikyuu has been running since Feb. 2012 so I assume that 6+ years is considered as having "seniority" in Shonen Jump.

Then again I wonder if it was too much trouble to put series with similar or longer runtimes into the lineup.

Series like

Toriko

Hitman Reborn

Shaman King

and others seems to be absent despite having similar serialization times.

I would assume Kenshin would probably be on here if it wasn't for the scandal.
SK isn't part of Shueisha anymore.

Haikyuu!! as a franchise is more popular than Toriko/HR combined though.

Add this date on your calendars, ladies and gentlemen, May 2nd is the day Act-Age first volume will be released. I will be there buying it at midnight, Toyko time. :P Can't wait for that, I hope it goes well on its rankings to survive until there.

I liked the first 3 chapters that Viz published, but like others have said, it feels like something from a shoujo magazine. It's definitely the least Jump-like manga in the lineup so far.

It didn’t get the Yonkou seal of approval like Bozebeats. So automatic axe confirmed
I'd say between this, Bozebeats, and the one that's coming out in 2 weeks, at least one of them will get quickly axed. They all appear to be pretty similar genres, and considering how hard it is to last long in WSJ, one will probably be gone pretty quickly. None of them really seem that interesting to me, but I'm not really a reader of these types of series, so my opinion in regard to their quality probably means very little.

I'm mostly curious to see how Act-Age and the gyaru archaeology story do.

Ziga Ziga looks like a battle series, but can't really tell what kind until we get a better preview.

But yeah, Bozebeats and Jujutsu both looks like they're both going for "monster of the week", demon slaying, Early Bleach type routes. Just depends on their execution, cause in my opinion those type series are hard to stand out, and Bozebeats is already in the forgettable realm. I at least think the character designs in Jujutsu is really cool though, i guess.

That's true. I completely forgot that they'll have to compete with Kimetsu, which seems to be doing pretty well for itself and has found its footing. Plus, people who are really craving that type of series could always just buy Jump SQ. I agree that I'll need to see Ziga' preview in a couple weeks to get a better grasp on what the series will probably be about.

While Bozebeats didn't rank dead last, but it was still low enough that I'll look a few more weeks to see if it drifts to the bottom. I could see it ending in 3 volumes, give or take a volume since who knows if WSJ has any other new series being prepped at the moment.

Not really
What would you say it looks like?
not asking in a sarcastic way. I was seriously just making a guess when I said it looks like a battle series.
