It started very solid to me, but the timeskip was what killed it, it got actually boring and not because its about golf, its just straight out boring.

I still think one of key aspects of RxL flopping would be the very same theme of golf. Unlike basketball in Kuroko, golf doesn't have so much impact and spectacle, dunno.

By the way, wasn't Nanatsu no Taizai author somewhat succesful in Jump with a golf title?
Yes he did do one, as someone just mentioned.

There's also a golf manga called King Golf, which has like 31 volumes right now. Although, everyone seems like a gangster in that series. And the characters look like they're from Toriko. So it might feel a bit more exciting. But then again, that's not really popular either.

Do you guys actually enjoy Robo, or is it because it has Fujimaki name in it? So you have to force yourself to like it, like eating bread without peanut butter or jelly.
Hey, I like eating bread by itself :mono

Never even bothered to read RxL, though. I have a personal beef with Fujomaki because of his depiction of black characters. I remember looking into KnB one day after hearing it would be localized by Viz and came across Last Game, I believe it was. Wasn't a fan of their designs. They looked like a certain character archetype you'd find in a lot of "special" type of manga. Wasn't to big a fan of his depiction of the black character in RxL either, especially with the guy being illustrated as a Sasquatch in that one color page. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of his.

Most Japanese men have never seen a black man in their life so it makes sense

Always found one of the coolest aspects of Part 2 was Kishi created a whole country of black people. He even commented he did it on purpose to show the diversity of Naruto's world. So that excuse is like living in Miami but not knowing what snow looks like. You probably seen a depiction of it in media but not actually in person. Anime forever has had darker skinned colored characters but that's about the extent of it as there's no further reference of their skin color. It's just all in the character design. No big deal to be real, better to be included than not to be.

My point is that most Japanese men have never seen nor conversed with a black man before so they're rolling with only stereotypes TV or other media. I'm not saying thats ok, it obviously isnt.

Yeah I know bro lol I was just making sense of it like you are. It's honestly not a big deal, there's plenty of black/minority characters especially in battle shonen. You just won't ever see it go deeper than that which is fine cause it doesn't need to be deeper than that.

Thought its easier to axe an old series than a new series, a new one you have to pray to chance and wonder whether or not it just needs time to get a following or if there is no hope for it. Many newer series lasted like 25-50 chapters, clearly showing while strongly suggesting and highly implying that the editors were praying to chance hoping that perhaps they needed time to build a loyal fanbase.
Your statements are not accurate. New series have no plot to solve, it is easier to end the story and get no complains about it, principally because it is new and nobody cared about it anyway, that's why it is been canceled. Now, old series have plot to solve and while Shueisha seeks money above all else, they have a reputation to take care of, they will not end a series abruptly without giving the author at least some weeks to think about how to finish it the best way possible. Also, old series have a fandom and kind of have a guaranteed revenue despite its decay. For example, Bleach, Toriko and so on were decaying for years, but most of the series right now in the magazine cannot replace the amount they were selling when they ended, even less new series. For example, a decaying old series is selling 200~150k now and it is constantly in the bottom or one place above it, it is profitable to cancel this series and replace it with 2~3 new series that most likely will sell much less than it or get axed in 20 chapters? No.
We've seen with Magazine and Sunday that wait to see if the series is going to sprout is not the answer most of the time. They wait there and still sell like crap. There are series that can do just as much, they will not surpass a certain amount, no matter what you do. Move on fast is the way to go, if you try more, you will have more successful tries, obviously.

Probably not best to use something like Bleach or Toriko that even in their "decaying state" were still outselling seires that ended in the 100-300 chapter range.

Your statement doesnt really address why a segment of new series stay around for 25-75 chapters or so. In those case, didnt seem like Jump was in the *move fast* stage.

Magico was one of them, it started really well, but decayed pretty fast moving to its first anniversary, it rarely happens by the way, most of them are ended before 25 chapters and those who surpass this, most of the time survive for years, the gray area where it surpass 25 chapters, but is canceled around its first anniversary is rarely seen.

50k of BLack Clover backlog in the week. Awesome. I assume next chart BLack Clover newest volume will double this volumes debut.

The monthly chart posted is weird. No volume numbers or were they just omitted.

Unless next volume of BC has done something impressive or the anime animates something big that will get new fans, I sincerely doubt any sort of doubling will happen.
