Since Naruto franchise AND Boruto is still a top tv tokyo property, its doubtful they would end within this year (newest theme song singers was just revealed as well)

If their not even trying then why did this even get an anime in the first place ? I feel jump has been pretty bizarre ( I did that on purpose Coz I love me some jojo XD) with their priority I have to wonder whats going on over there in terms of how old titles are being handld in others news tho

I thought the reason there was no Gundam seed destiny sequel is because the head writer's wife died who was also involved in its creation, and because of that and the Gundam seed destiny Drama with Shin's VO and others he refuse to work on Gundam again popularity or not.

There was a movie in development for years that has been indefinitely shelved for a while even before the head writer's passing. Truth be told as successful as Destiny was it was a production disaster that put the director on the back burner for years until 2014 where he was a producer on Cross Ange. Shinn's VA is still heavily involved in Gundam projects but he has criticized the writing on his character for years and even went as far as saying that a videogame portrayal of his character was better than the actual show,

Its ratings have gone up due to its change in timeslot and the new ratings are in line with what the previous show Snack World got. Previously, it was doing around 0.6-1.2 % per week. Now it does in the 2% range with its kids rating ranging from 4-6%. I don't think they'll end it anytime soon because those kids' ratings are a just a little lower than OP's kids' rating. This is of course the lead in show Pokemon's effect, which has kids' ratings of 12-15%.

It could be that this is a special case. If I recall, this starts late in the season so it technically might not count as a "regular" anime. Still I also don't see why they're not putting this in places more people can at least chance upon it. The series itself was a niche hit back when it was running.

Try isn't done by Mitsuo Fukuda who Shin's VO has made very clear he wants nothing to do with him anymore. ChocoBar9 KHR isn't for everyone but I still like the show nonetheless.


Bad news regarding sports characters but the producer was asked if titles like prince of tennis had chance of being in the game which he pretty much said it isn't happening so yeah no slam dunk or kurko no basket
But at least it means its going for action type anime and manga so that gives us an idea for the roster.

Try isn't done by Mitsuo Fukuda who Shin's VO has made very clear he wants nothing to do with him anymore. ChocoBar9 KHR isn't for everyone but I still like the show nonetheless.

I always thought fans hated the anime due to the amount of alterations (changing motorbikes into Airbikes) and bad animation. Kudos to them I suppose.

Bad animation ? I don't know about that the only time the show had something like that was episode 5 of the daily arc but after the daily life arc animation was pretty much on point ( there is a reason why the series ranked pretty high in NHK's anniversary rankings ) as for the Air bikes I don't think I remember people being that annoyed about it

Oh yes the series did have its fair share of bad animation it was an Artland show afterall .The character designer could never get Amanos art down (same problem with Psycho Pass) so it opted for a barely on model style thats easier to animate but looks fairly simple. And those NHK rankings are user generated so any legion of fans can just spam votes, Reborn got canned due to low ratings and drop in merch sales and thr manga follow suit two years later. Its pretty surprising to see that the series still has a following with these recent new projects and releases poping up unlike say D.Grayman which as Hollow showed the franchise was dead in the water at that point.

Actually somebody made a whole analysis on the animation of KHR specifically the Varia arc and the Future arc and re-watching the show last Year he isn't wrong the animation of the show after the Daily life Arc isn't really that bad, As for D grey man I don't think That is dead ether I mean the franchise still has a long following just like Bleach ( and Berserk my personal fave manga as you can tell)

It has been cute so far, but I'm really not sure how this one will fare sales-wise. I thought the first 3 chapters were pretty good, but the way the current lineup is, it's incredibly difficult for newcomers to stick around. What has been the general Japanese consensus for Momiji and Invade You so far?
