I got around seeing a fancam of part 5's first episode shown at the event and it was amazing. I felt really relieved after seeing it since I thought it may be very different because of the huge staff changes. The animation was nice and directing was great as usual. I guess they trained their staff very well for this which may of explained the long wait.

Anyway, it's easily going to be my fav WSJ anime for 2018 and 2019 if it's more than 1 cour. MHA S3 felt over hyped for me and wasn't nearly as enjoyable as S2 tbh. Plus I'm a JoJo fanboy so I am a bit biased here.

The only thing that sticks out is the colouring technique and the way Boruto's hair is drawn. Ikemoto is simply not good at Kishimoto style hair. He's more of a realistic depiction type artist, looking at his tribute works on Naruto. He simply cannot do Kishimoto's style but insists on doing so with the characters Kishimoto himself has drawn. You then end up with this weird midground. The Boruto original characters are fine. Also, that title logo and the CP clash.

it is a fan edit (French ver.) but Organic Dinosaur put it up so it must be mostly right

Jujutsu Kaisen's first volume has an estimated first print of 50k. The person who runs POS also wonders whether it was same day reprinting but doesn't say anything else so that's probably just speculation. Jujutsu might have quite a good start. I think it can do BC level for this first week, which is around 38k, though its above Robo for both 7/4 and 7/5 so it might do around 50k. Robo also could have dropped so we'll see. Either way, this could be one of the surprise smash hits Jump needs right now.

Yuragi is 14 volumes in...I thought they'd do 2 cour like with most WSJ adaptations. That's disappointing.

Funny thing next week I'll get finished my video of 50 years of Jump throught anime openings (and a pachinko opening of Circuit no Okami), and the first opening would be Haruchi Gakuen one, while the last opening would be Yuuna-san
