You know it! Hinomaru is so lit right now!
You do know that the movie has been receiving good reviews right. Judging the movie before viewing it as you are doing now is one of the main reasons it has failed at the box office. Shinsuke Sato even received an award at its international premiere.People thought the Bleach movie was going to succeed? The trailer alone was a giant red flag
Man I love Hinomaru too butYou know it! Hinomaru is so lit right now!
Crunchyroll sometimes doesn't announced stuff beforehand so they could still pick it upDoes anyone know is Muhyo & Roji will be on any streaming services like Crunchyroll
This. It's fine to be cautious of live action adaptations of battle manga. But its very clear a lot of people just found reasons to whine about every single time something was revealed. Like Rukia's hair, Ichigo's hair not being orange enough, the clothing looking poor quality, some people complaining that the sword is different without realizing that its how his sword actually was at the start etc. etc. If there was any reason for the movie to be doomed from the start, it was because of such nitpicking. You do know that the movie has been receiving good reviews right. Judging the movie before viewing it as you are doing now is one of the main reasons it has failed at the box office. Shinsuke Sato even received an award at its international premiere.

Wasn't Bleach with a much higher budget? The Bleach movie is actually performing above Inuyashiki, Shinsuke Sato's other genre trilogy. It's actually within reasonable expectations.
The budgets on both movies are only about $4 million. That's nothing really.Wasn't Bleach with a much higher budget?
to quote Act-AgeThe budgets on both movies are only about $4 million. That's nothing really.
still, $4M is standard fare for Japanese film cost
I love it honestly. The blockyness makes for a unique style, kinda reminds me of the uniqueness MHA has. The simple drawings work well with the comedy too I think.I find Tanaka Seiji art to be awful. Premise is interesting but that art...
Well if there's a barometer there's last year's Gintama live action movie which did ¥4.6 billion ($42 million) making it the highest grossing film in Japan last year but the Bleach movie is looking to do worse than the Jojo movie which only grossed ¥990 million ($2 million). What live actions are known to do well even? Like it was no way Bleach was gonna beat Pokemon but nobody has provided a barometer of successful live actions to go off.
As far as I'm aware, Henry wasn't involved with this project, he just posted it on r/manga. The series was picked up by Cyan Steam.Just call it Tanaka Seiji...
oh it's the discord team, wonder who Henry requited this time.
